Got the Resident Evil: Apocalypse soundtrack not too long ago and figured I'd ask what everyone's favorite movie soundtrack is.

Keep in mind, I'm talking about soundtracks like The Matrix, Valentine, and Twister with music from bands and not Star Wars and Harry Potter with compositions.

Post away.

I have the soundtracks from both Spider-Man movies and they're really good. My absolute favorite is POTC but I guess it doesn't count. ;)

Ah, what the heck...

Freddy Vs. Jason

Valentine (anyone know where I can find one? Lost mine a while ago...)

The Matrix

The Matrix Reloaded (disc one)

Resident Evil

Resident Evil: Apocalypse

Scream 3

The Punisher

Spider-Man (only because it had Bother on it. Shows that Corey Taylor from Slipknot can write and sing a great soft song!)

Oh, and Queen of The Damned

I'm more of a movie score type of guy, but I do have a couple of normal favorites.....

-Bad Boys II
-Spider-Man
-Spider-Man 2
-2Fast 2Furious
-Wild Wild West
-Nightmare Before Christmas
-Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (absolutely hilarious)
-School of Rock

Now scores....that is another story. Those include......

-Pirates of the Caribbean
-Back to the Future Part II
-The Mummy Returns
-Spider-Man 2
-Terminator 2: Judgement Day
-Jurassic Park
-Men in Black (Danny Elfman is the greatest)
-The Terminal
-Jaws

And a lot more. There is just too many to name. :)

Symphonic soundtracks - Jurassic Park, Star Wars, Air Force One

Other soundtracks- Batman Forever, The Wedding Singer, Transformers: the Movie, Boogie Nights

DMC-12

It's HarmonioUS, NOT HarmoniYOU.
Hmmmm Everyone knows I am a huge movie score geek.... I can usually tell by the first few notes of the piece... of what it is... what movie its from... and what scene it is. I even have some very rare score pieces from Back to the Future 2 and 3 (not soundtracks... but actual orchestral pieces).

But as for vocal movie soundtracks (non-movie score):
-West Side Story
-3000 Miles to Graceland
-Pulp Fiction
-Back to the Future 1
-Twister (also has a really good score to, if you can find it)
-Gone in 60 Seconds
-Coyote Ugly
-Top Gun
-De-Lovley (Lots of great Cole Porter stuff)

...and thats just naming a very select few from my large collection. :)

That's cool.

Count 3 for Moulin Rouge on this thread.

My family hates that movie, can't figure it out (must be all the stuff
in the first 10 mins of the movie).

Maybe they don't like that it doesn't exactly have a happy ending??? Who knows. I was "on the fence" the first time I saw it. Saw it the second time and loved it! Music really is great.
