Silver lining to bus wraps......it gives me something to look at while waiting for EVCs to load after I get tired of trying to catch lizards.

Having grown up in central Florida, I need to teach my kids to identify fire ant mounds and catch lizards next time we're down there. Did you ever play with their little lizard eggs? Also, the lady who lived across the street from us put lizards in her cabinets so they would eat the giant Florida roaches.

I guess I will tread in to these waters.....Here is my take. In of it self are the buses that intrusive? No....but wait.....we see a trend here. We were saying the same thing when they put Starbucks in the parks. My question is what's next? In of it self each case isn't that big a deal. But where does it end? SO if we let each little thing slip by with a "no big deal" Well when does it become a big deal?

Its like a slow leak. The erosion has been very slow. The guest experience has been eroding the same way. I feel the same way about Rainforest restaurant....TRex among other outside influences. Where does it end? I am afraid the toothpaste is out of the tube. It will only get worse. WOnt be long before we some Disney stylized billboards.....you just wait and see.

I think the most intrusive thing I ever remember in WDW was that Eastern Airlines Ride (If you had wings) that showed me images of places Eastern happened to fly to.

My mom had a lizard that lived in her house in FL too to catch the bugs. She also had some huge spiders that she claimed were there to eat the bugs. I guess we should have suspected then that Senility was right around the corner...

Awesome insect control. No playing with eggs. Ohio doesn't have the same entertaining lizards running around so it's just fun for us to look for them. I can't remember actually catching any. Oh better add "bus wrap" for good measure. We don't actually have many buses in these parts either so seeing a bus is exciting and new too. For it to be wrapped in a glorious advertisement just puts it all over the top. I guess I'm closer to sshindels opinion about this.....meh.

The big old wolf spiders and the like will house roaches, crickets, etc. But I wouldn't want those things in my house.

There was one on the wall in the room our kids slept in once under an 8 by 10 framed picture. Legs were sticking out both sides of the frame. DH took care of that one because I was too busy screaming.

Actually spiders are good at eating bugs and the Chinese consider them lucky, DW OTOH...

Is this a bad time to point out that the Main Street vehicles in the 50s used to advertise without theming the other attractions in park at Disneyland?

Stop it! Nobody wants to hear your logical arguments 'round here! :)

But don't listen to me. I'm just hear for the cheese wheel argument. Just waiting to get through this bus stuff so I can defend the parmigiano. ;)
