Tired, not-quite-TGIF huggles!

I just got back from my Invertebrate Zoology midterm, and I think I did so-so. I didn't do an "OMG, I'm gonna fail!" panic quite as much this time... I think because I'm burned out, so I didn't care enough to study the 60+ pages of notes for more than an hour or so, total. I don't think I did too badly, though. I filled the page on each question and probably could have written more if I had more time, although I certainly wouldn't say I answered each question completely.

Now I have Vertebrate Natural History lab this afternoon/evening (this week's trip: Mission Trails park!), then a split shift tomorrow at work. The split shift leaves me 5-6 hours in between the morning and afternoon shifts to go over to the flood channel and put in research time with the shorebirds for my field project... then back to work... then work as a Pets Rule stagehand all day Sunday... and a physics midterm on Monday... and an Invert Zoo lab practical Tuesday... and then I need to start on my 4 different semester projects/papers that are due soon...

It never ends! :brick:

Best of luck! And a little competition is a good thing. Just be yourself.

Do you know who the other candidate(s) is? If so, is he/she qualified?

If you don't know, it may not mean there is "competition," just that there is someone who put in for the job.

In many places, jobs must be "posted," so that anyone who thinks they are qualified can apply for the position (which eliminates back door, sneaky, etc promotions).

Anyway, as Mad said, just be yourself. It also may not hurt to check out that interview book I mentioned a few pages back (for now and for the future).

Good Luck!

Not really! 4-5 hours a night is good, for me. I had a couple of days with week where it was down to just a couple of hours. As a science studient, I've learned that sleep and food are overrated.

Okay here is the situation. I get the call today from the job interviewer stating they selected someone who has educator experience. He went on to say, Even though they knew I didn't have educator experience, he didn't think there would be so many strong candiates. Blah Blah

This was the first time in my long career someone called to reject me by phone, most times it's by mail. Nice jester, but I must say I don't like that. I found out a lot sooner then the mail, but I don't like it. Send me an email.

Sorry. ((HUGGLES))
