wow you guys sure had a lot to say after i went to bed.

here's an update. i got lotsa sleep (actually slept all night which is the first time in months) and i feel 96% better about last night. there was nothing wrong with what i said. i didnt tell him i wanted to marry him or anything, all i said was that i like him a lot. thats something nice to say about someone else.

im not going to worry about it
we have tenative plans for tonight so i'll just see how it goes. He is a really shy person, and i knew that from the very beginning because how we met is, i saw him looking at me so i approached him. I asked him later if he would have approached me and he said he didnt know but he was glad that i went up to him.

so yeah. no analyzing this by me anymore

Years ago, when I was a field engineer and single, I did a fair amount of traveling. It was really cool to see the country. I was in Seattle, and had a salmon steak that was at least 1 1/2 inches thick, and was hanging over the plate. Tender as all heck too. :slurp:

I'm only a recent convert to salmon, but its now one of my favorites. Its great grilled with a little lemon basil sprinkled on top. :slurp:

I never got into anything too exotic, but I figured I would try some local delicies, even for this Irish meat and potatoes man. Heck, I even tried sushi in LA twice! :eek: I just won't do any Indian stuff (wayy too spicy)
