How many women keep their on the side of their upper torso?

What's your theory on what Tigger is doing in the video? I'll admit that its not that good of a piece of evidence since where his hand ends up isn't quite clear. It seems to me to be a profoundly bad idea for a character to come up to a woman from behind and touch her at all.

Isnt this exactly the sort of thing mom commented on? What the hell can be done without someone contacting a lawyer?

No touchy touchy, well best they reshooot their advertising vids etc cause several characters touch guests from behind.

I'm not aware of any evidence of anyone contacting a lawyer in this case. It seems to me that the police have been contacted. Other than speculation from the "they're all a bunch of lying money-grubbing, attention seeking frauds" brigade has there been any references to civil suits. In fact if you read the article, the woman in question didn't even file her own complaint.

I was being more general than about this incident. We have created a society where every action and event is scrutinised. A recent survey in the UK showed that the majority wouldn’t help a crying kid for fear of being accused of something.

Media speculation and involvement in cases like this always muddy the water, sensationalism sells after all. Not sure its either helpful or neccesary.

That's their "evidence"? I admit it is possible, but you really can't tell if his hand is actually on her breast, or on her side.

No Kirsten that is not "their" evidence. In fact the woman in the video did NOT submit a complaint to the police. However, she heard of the other complaints submitted and then gave the Police a copy of that tape in case they thought it was relevant to their investigation.

My question about the video is "Why did Tigger put his hand there anyway"? Doesn't matter if her touched her breast or not. If I was going to get a woman's attention I would have tapped her on the shoulder not reached under her arm. For those who claim that the characters can't see where they are touching you, then maybe the characters shouldn't be reaching out for you. The character should let you come to them.

Just my opinion.

ACE - there is no "claim" about reduced vision. I've not worked for Disney, but the character suits I have been in have limited vision. It's not a claim - it's a fact.

I've only looked at the clip once, and I recall that the woman was moving all over the place, but paying no attention to anything other than her camera viewfinder. Maybe she was about to back into Tigger, in which case the character performer has the option of just letting her back into him and her possibly tripping over, to push her away (assault?), to gently catch her (as in this instance) or try to jump out of her way.

The latter is not a wise option in an environment where small children are running around - they tend to come in under the radar and you are first aware of them when they clutch your leg like an amorous terrier – or they try to pull the hand off or kick you in the back and run away. Sudden movement from a character could result in them having to wipe squashed child of their feet.

I've looked at the video and it appears to me that the woman was nowhere near Tigger. He approaches her from behind while she is taking a picture of her daughter with Eeyore.

I WISH PEOPLE WOULD LAY OFF OF THESE GUYS! LISTEN, THE WOMAN WAS NOT RAPED, so she has no excuse for not reporting it immediately. her husband reported it. This is freaking extortion.

Besides, I haven't seen a picture of her. If she was hot, then who says a Tigger cant touch a nice booby?

I think it is in the "Hundred Acre Woody" handbook, page 83, paragraph 2 that simply says, that "any and all "body-part" handling will be done by Christopher Robin in the privacy of his own room".

Only in cases of emergency may Piglet, yes Piglet, indulge in such activity. Emergencies are defined as every third Wednesday of months that end in the letter "R".

My computer is way too slow to actually see the video, but I'll try a little bit longer to see it. I just wish that this case won't take forever.

I saw the guy's pic on TV while at WDW. I thought I was watching an episode of America's Most Wanted. I would not hire him to clean out my septic system, much less be Tigger. Whoever hired this guy should be fired ASAP and I hope the guy gets the book thrown at him.

As for more complaints, what did you expect? Disney has big pockets. There are a lot of dishonest people in this country and some even look like the girl next door.

It just seems a bit silly to me to draw such a clear distinction between identical actions based on intent.

a) It was an accident - Have a little laugh about it.

b) It was intentional - File a lawsuit.

I can't speak for anyone else, but, for the record, if anyone has such a strong desire to grab my butt that they'd risk their job for it: Have at it! If my enduring one second of what my car seat gives me for a full 40 minute drive to and from work everyday would give someone that much pleasure, I'm generous enough to give them that gift.

JB.......I'm laughing at your post.....that was funny. I can't see the video, wish I could but I still have a hard time believing these things are intentional. I just hope this doesn't cause a problem...like characters not being able to interact with guests---that would really be sad. :(

Judging by the video, I'd say that the actor playing Tigger couldn't see that the lady was holding her arms up and thought he was going to grab her shoulders or someting. Or perhaps, like someone said, was just comming up behind the mom to make the kid smile for the Pic with Eyore, and meant to grab the sides of her rib cage, but probably went a little too far. I don't know, this is just some speculation.
