Today at the Trade Show (at the Orange County Convention Center) flyers were given out at the Disney table showing news on the Year of a Million Dreams, but the flyer also showed the logo for the new Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor Comedy Club, revealed details about it and showed concept art and more details for The Seas with Nemo and Friends. Figured this would be fun to share with everyone, so enjoy!

Oh, and I forgot to add, that a marketing director at Disney told me today that October 1st is set as the date for Disney to make announcements about the coming year. This coincides with what we have been hearing for a while, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed! :D

The logo reminds me of the Stitch's Great Escape logo. I just hope this ride dosen't remind me of Stitch's Great Escape.

I think it is supposed to look like the neon theming of Tomorrowland at night, but I can't tell if I like it yet. I really do hope it doesn't remind me of Stitch's Great Escape too!

I agree on the SGE resemblance, but I'm honestly indifferent about it.
Nothing astounding, but also not very memorable.

Has anything that has been new to Tomorrowland been very memorable in the last 5 years? I really hope this changes Tomorrowland's track record, because I really am not too excited about the Monster's Inc. theme. I didn't really like the movie, and I am not a fan of the idea of it coming to our parks, but I will keep an open mind until I see it.

Nice find! It's too bad I'll be there just before Nemo & Friends (should) start. But I will be there October 1st! :sohappy:

Yeah that sign font is eerily similar to SGE. Monsters Inc. was one of my favorite Pixar films, I can only hope that the Laugh Floor will be a worthwile attraction, and not be eerily similar to SGE. Time will tell.

5 yers? it's more like 8 years since something good has been aded to Tomorrowland (aka Pixarland). If this monsters inc show isn't good I'll simply stop going to Tomorrowland (except for carousel of Progress).:p

The font does look a lot like SGE. Otherwise, nice logo. Nothing too special, but nothing ugly. Perhaps the similarity was on purpose to give the Avenue of Planets a cohesive look with its signage?

That's what I was thinking too.

I hope that is just a temporary logo that was created using the same template as SGE. Otherwise, it does look like the same sign.

Whatever happens it will be better than an empty TK...or a plain meet and greet....This isn't like SGE which replaced a great attraction in AE, whose weakness was that it was TOO SCARY. Thanks for sharing the photo and info!

I'm thinking the same...they're trying to keep the smooth flow of the theme in that area. It would be nice if they painted the TomorrowLand buildings some other color though...and added a couple of pieces to the section to give the area a more futuristic/sci-fi look...

A TTA rehab would be cool...maybe with update vehicles....

Also (and this is a bit off topic) why are they still using Disney/Pixar isn't it all Disney now?

Excellent point and I agree completely. I would be willing to bet that I won't like this as much as the TK, but I guarantee it will be better than another meet and greet or bumper cars.

However, the bad thing about trying to make the sign fit in with SGE actually means they plan on keeping SGE around for quite a few more years

I really did like the Timekeeper and back in the days that I was afraid to ride Space Mountain, it was a nice attraction to do while the rest of the family was blasting off on the "dark coaster."

I hope that the removal of the Timekeeper doesn't go in vain and I hope that the Imagineers can pull off a home run with this one.

For the Disney/Pixar labels, I believe since Pixar is still considered a seperate company from Disney (even though it is owned by Disney) it has a seperate studio name. This is similar to the MGM/Sony labels.
