News Monorail Red in motion with guests on board and doors open

It's all about wording and making things sound better. For example If someone crashes into the front door of my house and breaks the hinges but the door is still in place, then when I go to investigate and open the door and it falls to the ground. I'm not going to say I removed the door while repairing it. I'm going to say the person who crashed into my door broke it off.

So the TL;DR here for the "Door falling off" is that there was no fault, and no maintenance issue. Just an accident by a guest.
Pretty much, I would only add that these doors are hit all the time by scooters so there's a possibility something was wrong with the door (weakened) before impact.

There's no guarantee there wasn't an underlying maintenance issue that was exacerbated by a guest hitting the door with their ECV, but yes just an accident by a guest.

I wouldn't say fake just distorted, haha!

It was dislodged from (broken off of) the top actuator and moved (fell) to the hanging position.

It's always easy to just change a few words to make things sound nicer.

Distorting the truth to change the message is a great way to cause others who come across it to be dismissive. To me, that qualifies as fake news.

Why wouldn't it matter? They door didn't just fall off randomly or something.

That’s not what I meant...

The fact that is was dislodged and removed with “no passengers aboard” is meaningless when judging the problem.

That Initial problem could happen anywhere on the circuit and who knows what could happen then at 37 mph?

It’s not good...that’s all.

Ok that part I’ll agree with all though usually an ECV isn’t accelerating up a ramp while the monorail is moving. The guest also went against the contract they signed for the ECV (assuming they rented it) with having a child on their lap.
