I suspect that if you don't wear a name badge that says "PeterAlt", it wouldn't matter what you said on the thread. Look how long "The Woo" operated blatantly showing his face and where he had been before he ever got trespassed. I don't think you are taking much of risk and who knows you might just accidentally trip over a hidden Monorail footing and become a hero. Totally worth it.
By the way, I took a good look at the EC construction photos and found footers all over EC. I'm not going to post and try to show where they are - I've been down that road before. Trying to explain where they're at with grainy images to people who's already made up their minds is like... I'm not going there. I just want to know why spent all that money and time and effort putting these things in only to not go through with it. I found out that they keep making plans, updating those plans, and they keep studying it, while denying they're doing these things, but construction never ever makes it that far. Okay, I thought I was all up to date, but clearly I skimmed over something, and am now lost.
What is @PeterAlt up to? I know he believes there are hidden monorail footers, for future expansion, but what does this have to do with Epcot? The monorail already runs through EC, yes?
When can we expect to hear of his exploits, or his arrest, which ever comes first?
Legit, I'm not being a wise guy. I just somehow missed something, and don't feel like going back dozens of pages.

Why is the footer there (if indeed it is)?
Why does he care?
Why is he willing to get banned just to prove it exists?
And where the heck would this single footer lead? I have no idea how far apart these things need to be placed, but wouldn't this be a case of - if there's one, there are dozens? I guess they could have one secret footing somewhere, but surely dozens could not remain hidden. If so, this just seems to be too big of a mystery not to have been leaked decades ago.
He's not just pulling our leg, right? At least, he sounds legit to me, in a Twilight Zone kind of way.
People, this is exactly what we talked about a few pages back when @wdwmagic asked about deleting off-topic discussion! This whole tangent about searching for footers is obviously crazy, does not add anything to the thread and in my opinion is a derailment. It seems that @WDW1974 is already on his vacation, let's just try and not add a million pages of nonsense to this thread!

Because he loves monorails, and wants to see them (or light rail) expanded...search for "monorail footers" and you'll find several threads he's created about this topic.
He's not. He just wants to prove that he was right, and it's really a monorail footer.
If I recall, he thought it was going to be a spur to go over to DTD.

I don't think he is...but I also don't think he's gonna go AdamWoo on us either and storm the backstage area and get banned. He's crazy about monorails, but he's not stupid.

There are a path of footers, by the way, running east and another path running west of SSE. The ones going east would have created a spur to DTD. The ones running west were buried "just in case" they ever build anything to the west of EC and needed to run a spur in that direction. Lo and behold, they built DHS, so yeah, it's needed, but those footers are long buried under concrete. The eastern trail of footers have one sticking out in front of the the WDI building.
Also, I got a hold of a picture a CM took during the 1990's of the monorail expansion plan of the day. This show a line going to DHS that does not use the western footers and takes on an entirely different alignment than another leaked plan showed. What's crazy about this lead is that they actually cleared the path for it precisely when looking at satellite imagery!

So Alt and the case of the hidden footers has infiltrated this thread. I beg of you to just stop. So lets just say the footers do exist.....then what? Your going to demand that they finish the build? Petey...Someone needs to say it. Your crazy dude......spend your time/resources on something that will have a positive impact on your life. This quest is much like people looking for sasquatch or the Loch Ness monster. Don't you realize that this is looking silly?
