Moms first trip! Where to eat?

This is my moms first trip at age 69! We are spending a day in each of the Parks plus Seaworld, then a day of rest. What place in each park do you recommend for her? She is not a buffet type of person but is game for anything else. Any suggestions?:sohappy:

Epcot: Le Cell or Tutto, Bistro de Paris is good also
MGM: Mama Melrose
AK: Yak & Yeti

suggestions for Epcot

At Epcot there are so many places to eat. I love the fish in England... the nacho's are FANTASTIC in Mexico... and a great sit down dinner can be found in Morocco. I don't eat sit down dinners at any of the parks, I tend to do quick meals at lunch, then go for a nice dinner. (I eat breakfast at the resort)

I had a mother daughter trip this past May with my mom and we had tea at the Grand Floridian! Next trip, i'm taking her to the Castle! :sohappy:

I would suggest hitting up a Monorail resort for dinner on your MK day, possibly 'Ohana.
For Epcot, just have her look over the menus and pick one that stands out to her, they are all pretty much great in World Showcase.
In HS, I would almost suggest leaving for a resort restaurant also. If that is not an option, our family enjoyed 50's Prime Time.
For your AK day I say make a late evening ADR for Boma at AKL. It is a buffet. But a great buffet!! If she is really against the buffet, I would say Jiko if you can swing it!!!

MK = Liberty Tree
Epcot = San Angel
HS = 50's Prime Time
AK = Rainforest

Alt for MK = California Grill to watch Wishes

MK - The Plaza or take the monorail to Kona or 'Ohana

DHS - '50s Primetime

Epcot - Coral Reef, Les Chefs du France, or Via napoli

AK - Not many choices so I would do a resort restaurant or one at Downtown Disney.

If you are looking for something special consider taking her to the Hoop Dee Doo Revue or for Afternoon Tea at the Grand Floridian (if you do it later in the afternoon you probably won't want dinner). I bet she would really enjoy both of them.

Our ADR's are:

Epcot: Via Napoli

MK: Tony's (her choice)

HS: 50's Prime Time (I can't wait for her to experience it given she grew up in the 50's and 60's)

AK: We probably won't be spending our whole day there, she really just wants to hit a few things, so we're going back to Epcot for dinner at Nine Dragons.

i was not impressed with 50's prime time... in fact, i would never go back there.

we had reservations there. we showed up 15 minutes early and about 1.5 hours later we were FINALLY seated. our waiter didn't put on "the show" that my brother, and his wife, had pumped their kids up for. my brother and his wife purposely stopped eating about half way through so that they could get "the treatment" and NOTHING.

took forever to get refills of our drinks, the food was ok, but seeing all the other tables around us getting the show, and not ours, was disheartening. i felt bad for my brother and his family.

went to sci-fi last time around and enjoyed it a LOT more than 50's primetime. the food wasn't as good, BUT our waiter was AWESOME!!! and the atmosphere was interesting....

We have been twice and its been a good experience each time. I really liked the pot roast and so did my wife. Both of my sisters really like it as well and we are going back as a family this summer.

MK: Monorail over to Kona Cafe or Ohana. If you stay in the park, I like Tony's for Italian. Or eating at Cinderella's Royal Table might be fun too!
Epcot: Teppan Edo
HS: Sci Fi Diner
AK: I've only ever been to Rainforest Cafe here, as we usually only do a half day. So I can't really give any good recommendations besides that. I hear great things about Yak & Yeti.
