Mommy, why did they tear down Mickey Mouses house?

Tom

Beta Return
Simply tell the child that Mickeys dead, old age, and that his greedy family sold the plot to unscrupulous property developers who are using it to build a venue where men can stare at fantasy women.

When the child crys, give it a slap and tell it to get on eating the turkey leg.

Problem solved.

YES!!!!!!!! :sohappy:

Oh man, why doesn't Jasmine get HER own palace? I would SO visit, have lunch, sleep over, and maybe go through her closet and drawers :lookaroun

Two new characters to be joining the Disney Family. Homeless Mickey and Homeless Minnie, each in town clothes and pushing a shopping cart.

It's sarcasm, first of all. Second of all, you completely ignored my previous post about "playing nice." You're a n00b, so again, I'm going to be polite. IGNORE THEM AND MOVE ON THE NEXT TOPIC!!! Be the adult and the better person by letting it go.

WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT??????!!!!!!!!! I was answering the previous posters question......jokingly!!!!!!!!!! And what is a "n00b"? And how are you the better person if you are calling me a name if thats what you are doing? I was not being rude by answering another posters question!!!!!! :brick:

How about that due to the current economy Mickey and Minnie had to downsize and could no longer afford their country homes so they sold out to a big land developer to save themselves from foreclosure.:animwink:

Actually, you were replying to me, and I hadn't asked a question... so that excuse doesn't really fly. I've posted your response to me below. Can you honestly read it and tell me that you can't see how someone would take offense to it?

Thats alittle harsh! I am assuming you do not have children and if you do....I will be praying for them. Considering they have a parent that is all knowing in every situation that comes along.

Also, what Lorimistress called you was a "n00b" which simply means you are new to the boards. It's not a derogatory term. She is giving you more benefit of the doubt that I am because you clearly have proven that you know how to use the emoticons, yet in the post that you claim was meant to be taken "jokingly" you did not take the opportunity to use an emoticon that would have made that obvious (such as a smiley face). Sorry, but I'm not buying your excuse.

Also, your comment about "I will be praying for them" was offensive to me. I personally find it offensive when people use God as an excuse to be rude.

If they "have a parent that is all knowing in every situation that comes along".... then why would it be necessary to "pray for them"? :hammer:

this is the last post i am going to post.

I am sorry...is this a question? Yes it is.

here is your first response....I always think it's funny whenever someone poses the question of "what are parents supposed to tell their kids?". Don't most parents know how to communicate with their own kids??

How do you expect someone to not take offense to this. I have a child and I do not always know what should be done in certain situations.

Here is my quote....Considering they have a parent that is all knowing in every situation that comes along. Thats a shocking face directed toward what your response was....Don't most parents know how to communicate with their own kids??

Your quote....."I will be praying for them" was offensive to me. I personally find it offensive when people use God as an excuse to be rude. I am very sorry that this offended you but this is true. Your post at the beginning is implying that you know how to communicate with your children in every situation that comes along and that is not true no matter who you are. You are pretty much telling the op that she doesnt know how to talk to her children and that is very wrong. You should think twice about the comments you make because as you have taken offence to my reply...I took offence to your original post. And yes I am new to this and I dont know how to use everything fully, but I do understand when someone is being rude to the OP when she asked a simple question. Hope no bridges are burned. Sorry for the offense. Just understand that other people take offense to things you say as well.:):sohappy: Are we back on good terms?

Parents who take responsibility for being parents and teaching their own children about the world would have no reason to be offended by what I said. It's been my experience that most people who fit that description tend to agree with that sentiment. If you were offended by it, then I'm sure you have your reasons, but that doesn't change my opinion about it. I don't think it's up to society to change what we do just because parents will wonder, "How am I supposed to explain that to my kids?"

Your comment "I will pray for them", on the other hand, is hiding behind religion and God to provide an excuse to take a jab. I don't know you personally, so my remarks are not intended to be a commentary on what type of person you may or may not be. Your comment, however, was offensive and spineless in my opinion.
