MLB Postseason 2012

It must be incredibly frustrating for the players to hang around all day waiting to play, knowing that rain is forecast at game time. If the starting time of those 2 games last night had been moved up an hour or two they could have easily gotten both of them in without interruption. I know that would inconvenience the TV and radio networks and fans attending the games, but they get inconvenienced anyway by the delays and postponements.

Second, A-Rod cheated in baseball and on his wife.
This was the biggest on field incident that gave A-Rod a reputation as a cheater. Then later of course he was linked to steroid use.

I'm not a Yankee hater but I hate the media's obsession with everything Yankee related. I have nothing against future Hall of Famers like Jeter and Rivera, but I like to see other teams and players get some attention for once.

I agree. Every morning during the season Sportscenter goes on and on about a relative few number of teams. I know everyone cannot be featured everyday, but come on man!

I think the umps delayed the game after 6 and 2/3 innings so they could get a beer. One more out and beer sales would have been cut off for the night.
Lol
This reminds me of that beer commercial where fans inside a sports bar kept having the ref's postpone a football game with bad calls, sprinklers, etc, just so they could stay & drink longer.

Top 'o the 8th. Tigers need only 6 more outs for a trip to the World Series. Who's watching with me?

Yes, Nemo14, I know you're in here somewhere. I've got extra champagne ordered for you and other Boston fans who will be enjoying tonight just as much as the Tigers' fans will be. :D

Home run, Detroit!!
8-1, Tigers.

I'm in and out actually, but I'm loving seeing the Yankees lose!
I think rsoxguy is in here somewhere, probably snacking on the hors d'oeuvres
when nobody is looking, being all quiet & such. Either way, you know he's smiling right now.

2 outs to go!
