@Tick Tock It’s very hard to predict one game outcomes. Its interesting that the A’s pitching strategy used only one more pitcher than the Yankees. The yanks used 3 closers, maybe 4 if you count Betances’s time closing after they traded Chapman & Miller. Even though they were separated by 8 games I. The reg season, Sox and yanks were close h2h. ‘Should’ be a great series.

So I completely botched both of my wild card game predictions this year.

Thought the Cubs/Rockies game was gonna be a bloodbath, with the Cubs fueled by their disappointment over losing the division to Milwaukee the day prior, and using that frustration to wipe out Colorado, who I didn't think was experienced enough to match Chicago in a postseason environment just yet. Wrong.

I also thought the Yankees/A's were so close in caliber this season, that their wild card game would come down to the final or even extra innings to decide. Wrong again.

Not only wrong predictions, but completely opposite. :hilarious:
So keeping this trend of bad / opposite predictions alive... the Dodgers are gonna sweep Atlanta.
Cubs and Dodgers are the contemporary version of the the Braves of the 1990s/Early 2000s....

And, I do think the Braves get swept.....

Ye of little faith. I'm not expecting a World Series appearance just yet, but they certainly are on the right track for great things to come. Hopefully they'll get a few licks in this postseason. For a "rebuilding" team, I am beyond proud of how 2018 turned out.

And @raven24 , @LAKid53 .... go easy on us tonight and this week. We're a young team.

Okay, maybe... 😉

We're waaay overdue for another series ring. 1988 was so long ago. Want them to win another while Vin & Tommy are still alive.

MLB is cringing at the possibility of Cleveland vs Milwaukee.....Prayin for the Dodgers vs NYY, Houston or Boston

While I think most of baseball would love to see a Dodgers and Yanks series (there'd be hell in my household with my Yanks loving daughter), I'm hoping for a LA-Houston rematch, with a different outcome. 😁

Although it would be fantastic to deny my daughter's team that 28th ring.

1988 was rough.

That would be an AWESOME series.

Im not, Cleveland/Milwaukee would be a breath of fresh air. Tired of the overrated Dodgers choking, and done seeing Boston everywhere.

With all due respect....getting there is NOT enough. Need to win it, not just be proud out how 2018 turned out.

We CAN win it all, and that is my hope, not expectation...anything less will be a disappointment

World Series appearance just yet?......we were told the Falcons were a year ahead of schedule in 2016....

I agree wiith the Dodgers choking, as I've experienced the same down here in ATL, with the "greatest pitching staff ever", and that 3rd baseman that just got elected to the HOF with the 11th highest percentage ever!!

Don't want to see Boston? Somebody beat um.....easy

Of course my hope is to take it all. But just keeping my expectations realistically in check. This is a young team, new to the postseason environment, but with a bright future ahead. I hope they go further, but am still proud of where they are for being a rebuilding year.
Quick question....is the game even on broadcast tv in metro Atl?

Choke, Cubs, choke.
What a joke!
Hey Chicago, what do you say?
The Cubs are gonna lose today.

It’s not back luck.
The Cubs just suck.
Hey Chicago, shed your tears.
Same results in a different year.

Do you get MLB network?
ESPN is broadcasting college FB, Fox is showing Patriots game, which is surprising. So if you can't get MLB network, you may have to stream.
Thanks peeps....I'm in Seattle and was being badgered by someone in ATL....and couldn't believe what they were tellin me....they finally found it on MLB network....thanks for your help

I'll be back in ATL this evening

BTW....in ATL, in addition to broadcast Fox station, we have FOX affiliate FS1....not sure if that is Fox Sports 1, Fox South 1, but it's the cable affiliate and apparently had the early game last night, but not the Primetime Braves/Dodgers

Coffee has me on a real tangent now.......it's crazy to think you can't watch a home game with "rabbit ears"......in Atlanta, and the rural outskirts, there are many households that choose or maybe don't have access (I can't imagine not having some sort of access) to cable/internet/streaming broadcasts. I know that is not an issue exclusive to Atlanta, as inland from Seattle, there are many places I'd consider rural......the Fall City area is really gorgeous

Sunday's Braves Game is quite sold out, but reserved seat tickets are north of $280 of their website...on the secondary market, on more than one site, the same and better reserve seats are down in the $70s......

The Red Sox have the worst bullpen in the history of the mlb postseason...

I’d rather have schilling come out of his crazy right wing bunker and pitch in one leg now
