here's one more afterthought...

Mission: Space does have re-rideability.... MAJORLY. I'm going back tomorrow morning... and it takes a LOT to get me up early on my day off.

to quote a friend of mine:

the short length (is) easy to ignore with such a realistic sensation.

it's like "Mission to Mars" done right finally. it only took them 48 years...

I couldn't agree more

Great report Rob, I can't really think of a thing to add, except when this thing opens, watch out. Test Track is gonna have some heavy competition.

I've only ridden twice, and never twice in one day yet, once last night and once tonight. Motion sickness is never a problem for me, but the ride was much tamer then I expected, yet 100 times more exciting then I ever expected.

All I can add is my own postcard http://bsc.cards.go.com/cards/dynamic/missionspace/retrieve?card_id=A7421F983B71567D4F4A7346EB00CC81

I have to comment as well because i have also ridden the ride four times and i find it great. It was teh most incredible ride that i have ridden in a while. Someone asked about M:S/Horizons connections and i can say that i have at least found one, on the rotating wheel in the preshow the horizons logo is smack dab in the middle. I am also including the links to my two movies, talk to yall later.

I don't know yet... I'm leaving in about 20 minutes to go back to Epcot, and I'm gonna see if I can get a different ending. As of now though, the endings been the same every time. Not that it matters... since that attraction has given me something new to look for every time

Hey! That's awesome!

As a dearly devoted Horizons fan, what did you think about the change? :)

Thanks for taking the time to answer all these questions, and give us such a detailed report! I only have one question, I swear :D.

I was just wondering what the general reaction from people has been. What kind of comments are being made as people leave the ride, do most people seem impressed? I know you posted a couple of comments from friends, but I was wondering what the overall reaction has been.

It sounds amazing, and I'm really hoping Disney strikes gold with the public on this one. Thanks!:)

Well, in about a half hour I'm heading over for my turn. I can't wait!!!!

I'll see if I have anything to add.

ADDED BONUS: I just had lunch!!!! I'll let you know if this has an effect on my ride. I'm a thrill junkie... so I have to do this right.

I've seen a few people chicken out, but no one get sick or not like it. Everyone I've spoken to really enjoys it.

off topic- I made the suggestion that the nearby drink stands add Ginger Ale to their stock... it didn't fall on deaf ears

OK... I'm back.

I did not experience any ill effects... but I told you that I LOVE to be thrilled.

This did NOT thrill me. I did however LOVE the takeoff. It felt like my cheeks were being pulled back and then POOOF... weightlessness. That was a cool couple of seconds.

The theming is awesome. The queue was awesome. The post-show was awesome. Parts of the ride were awesome... but once you were "in space" it seemed like a run of the mill thing. BUT you are also talking to an adrenaline junkie.

I loved making the videos at the end.

Hi Rob...I have a question. On the picture of the fastpass machines, is that a ride vehicle in the background? VERY sweet pics, BTW. :D

Cheers

Thanks for the great pics! It looks better than I imagined. I like the costumes too, fits great into the pavilion.

Two quick questions. First, it looks like the different lines (single, standby and fastpass) are color coded at the entrance. I see a red line and a yellow line. I guess there would be one more? Is this correct? Second, does the fastpass or single rider line go through the neat indoor queue, or just the standby line?

I still feel positively about it... it's going to be a mega-hit of an attraction. I just wanted more. I wanted to be pushed harder and farther. I also am smart enough to understand that if it did push harder that the general public wouldn't like it. Majority rules.

Everything about Mission: Space was amazing. I just wanted MORE.

Did I mention that I LOVED making the videos?
