Sorry but I keep on thinking of questions. If you want me to stop just tell me :D

How long do you think a typical wait will be for this ride? I'm talking like a regular day. It seems like they can get alot of people in and out so the wait time won't be TOO bad (like 3 hours) on most days. Another things is how well do you think the single rider line will work? The Test Track one can sometimes be a huge time saver but other times you are better off just getting into the standby. I really hope this one can be run very effeciently.

you have out done yourself again rob, thanks for a great report, btw, any idea how they will open it up for regular CM previews??? i mean there is 55,000+ of us, now even if only 1 out 20 goes, think about the line, with only a capacity of 80 every 4 min. How have they done CM previews in the past for major E-Tickets???

thanks

the last one I went to was for Millionaire. They were by appointment on the intranet. I've spoken there and they said regular CM previews may start next week. If you have AIM, I can talk to you more about this.... maybe list some other options

thanks rob, GREAT info! -now here i've got my share of questions;

1.) just curious- what do you do? obviously you work at epcot but whats you're position?

2.)now the ride; how good was the film part- was it very realistic? or somewhat animated looking or what? -was the liftoff part ACTUAL video, or again more animated stuff?

3.) so the loading of the ride works like dr. dooms in IOA but on a larger scale correct? -thats what i understood from what you were saying.

4.) whats the STORY of the attraction- is there a reason we're going to mars... etc. etc.

5.) could you go a little more into the queve/pre show details?

6.) same for post show??

***sorry for all the questions- lol love the e-card i know i'll play with those for a while!! -thanks again for everything!

...Quick Question...

How big were the seats in the POD? I am kind of a big guy and I was wandering if people of larger size will have problems fitting in the ride.

I have no problem fitting in Rock N Roller Coaster, but I did have a problem on CyberSpace Mountain in Disney Quest.

Any details on this would be helpful!

1- I work in entertainment in all 4 parks. Epcot is actually my statused park though (ie- where I pick up my paycheck and other documents)

2- It's mostly CG .... REALLY high quality CG though. Most of it looks real

3- Like a mix of that and ToT

4- You're on a training mission. You are an Astronaut Cadet

5- sure... I'll make a separate post for that later..

6- ditto

Thanks for the post Rob. Also, if you see room1313 again, tell him thanks for taking your picture. It is nice to put a face with all your cool posts.

By the way, I hope everything is alright with room1313. Usually, he posts a trip report as soon as he gets back, but he hasn't done so yet. I hope all is well!

it's cramped... but bearable. On ride #2, the gentleman next to me was on the larger side, but he fit.

Awesome information there - I can't wait to ride it myself!

Oh, are there any space-related exhibits in the queue? Stuff like Hubble pics, moon rocks, rocket models, etc?

In this "training mission", are we to believe we are REALLY taking a trip to Mars while being trained, OR is the story that the capsules are simply there to train us so that we can take a "real" voyage one day? I hope that makes sense :hammer:

Thanks again for the info! :D

thanks 4 the answers rob- one last question -i promise- lol

so does eveyone in entertainment get to go to the previews or just those who are based in epcot like you? -also do you choose which is your 'home' park or is that randomly chosen for you?

thanks again:cool:
