We camped out one night on the Terrace for almost two hours - and the view SUCKED. The roof overhang is such that you can't see the higher fireworks.

I like the idea of the fireworks dessert party but personally...? I think this is an awful viewing location for fireworks. Been there, done that, was very UNimpressed.

Pick the spot; unless you are on the front you won`t see much, as those who pay extra will find out. I watched a HalloWishes there once. Not bad, perimeters are easily viewed, but I prefer the open. The biggest plus is Tink flying towards you, but you can get that elsewhere. The audio is pretty bad due to the accoustics too.

Man, that's where we have watched for three years...if you got there early enough, sat in the front, closest to main street, it was awesome.

Imagine if they actually opened the fence and let you walk out in the garden for the show. It would've been a lot better, IMO.

I completely agree, Martin. Next time I'm down and perimeter is going off, I have a 180/fisheye that I'm going to redo the statue/fireworks shot at.

And get a better tink flying photo; something at less than 6400 ISO.

Terrace viewing fireworks are just off center and too much clutter.

Something tells me that they once did that, because I remember waiting to be let in somewhere near the hub to watch FitS, back in the 90's.:shrug:
