I think I would complain to guest services that they let too many people in to the park and that they ruined my experience!
maybe I'll get something for free!

Btw, can someone run through exactly what the 4 stages of park closures are one more time? I found the answer using forum search...I didn't realize that APs were allowed to get into the parks all the way up through Phase 3. I though Phase 3 only included Resort Guests... good to know!

just imagine how long it is going to take to get out of there tonight! I was there one saturday in December and it took us almost an hour to get from Space Mountain to the front entrance. We had decided to catch the Monorail over at the Contemporary instead of waiting at MK.
Imagine 100,000 people leaving the park, PLUS waiting for the monorail or boat PLUS waiting for the tram PLUS waiting in the parking lot!!!

Some of my relatives are visiting MK for the VERY FIRST TIME today. I warned about the crowds and told them to arrive well before opening.
I'm guessing they've been in uber long lines all day long.
(BTW, we went a couple of weeks ago, and I really had to bite my lip when talking to my relatives about how low the crowds were, knowing they were in for pure heck this week!)

And to think my partner and I were about to go out there right before they posted that advisory about Phase 4!!!!! Oh well, Epcot and DHS are still open, so here we come!

good luck! We decided against heading out to Epcot tonight! by the sound of things, I think we made a good decision! But I hope you 2 have a GREAT Time! Post pictures of the CROWDS and entertainment!

The year I went, they had buses taking you from MK entry to TTC in addition to the monorails and ferry boats. The lines were literally 2+ hours for transportation back to the TTC though even WITH the busing.
I was too impatient to wait the full 9 months the first time :lol:
See, that's why I vacation in the off season.
I am DYING to see a picture, though.
:brick:We left the Magic Kingdom at 10:30AM this morning and the crowds were terrible. The line for the boat when we got on the Monarail was backed up all the way to the entrance. We did not plan to stay but to visit some resorts to see what was left of the Christmas decorations. We were outside Studios and the crowds were not as bad. We walked back through Epcot to get to our car when we were returning to the room around 1PM and the crowds there were getting close to MK. One cast member said they were expecting 83,000 there today. When we arrived this morning at 7AM they parked us on the grass in front of the small bathroom to the left as you are going to the buses. We only had to walk about 50 feet from the car to get on the sidewalk. They were really expecting crowds at Epcot today. We will go back tomorrow and see who is left. :ROFLOL:
