The above would not have been true for me. I've never been a drinker. Drank briefly for bravado as a kid, concluded I did not like the stuff and have not bothered with it since.

I'm not anti-drink but I will say I'm fed up with the degree of anti-social behaviour that comes with heavy drinking. It's part of the culture over here that in order to have a good time you have to get seriously drunk, throw up, pi$$ in a shop doorway, have meaningless Ess-Ee-Ex and eat hot curries.

Also, I carry around a bit of excess weight, but at least I don't have the beer gut to go with it ;)

I'm quite sorry, really I am... I poorly executed my point. Again, yes I drink, but no, I don't have to in order to have a good time. I HAD a friend, who I cannot stand anymore, in fact none of us can at school... because he HAS to drink in order to have fun... and if its a Saturday night and I'm going out and not drinking, he'd "make fun" of us... which is LUDICRUOUS...

See, I feel I gave the impression I'm this way... I'm not... I respect Connor, I do... and I know I can very often tend to be stubborn, but I don't feel I need to "top" anyone else's theories... I just cannot stand being "looked down" upon by someone because I openly choose to drink from time to time... or told that I'm "accepting a crappy society" which I'm not...

I poorly made my point, but whatever I don't really care about it anymore, it doesn't matter, its my life, its michael's life, its Luke's life, it's connor's life, its all of our own lives... to be lived how we want it... I'm not gonna try and change anyone... but I feel the UK Joe MAY have misunderstood me... and I could see why, I made my point HORRIBLY...

whatever, I'm done with it, pointless arugement thats not gonna change or do a thing...

I'm goin to watch entourage for the rest of the day... the show is addicting, I've already watched the first five of season II... i might watch the whole season today...

I know. I can only imagine what I'll have to be dragged to by the time we have kids. :lookaroun

At least Barney is fading.
Well, nothing is as good as it was when I was a kid...The Muppets, Sesame Street, American Gladiators... :lookaroun

What? I actually went to see American Gladiators live.

Sesame Street's still going strong, 40 years later.

I loved the Gladiators! It must have been so neat to see them in person...

it was! I got to see my favorite player...Ice. That was so cool!

I never cared much for the girls.. they looked too freakish with their huge biceps... I liked the guys much better. They seemed to really enjoy themselves, too.

Joanna - I'm really excited for you! Did you donate your hair to Locks of Love?

Yes I did!:D

Wow! That's quite an adjustment, I know. I had mine down to mid-back for the wedding, then had it chopped back to just below the chin right afterwards. I bawled. But it's only hair! And it'll take 1/3 of the time to wash and dry now

Yeah. I think it will take some getting used to. I haven't had it this short in awhile. In fact, it got cut a little shorter then I wanted. But hopefully it will grow back quickly.
