Good evening, everyone...LOOOOOONG weekend. We drove up to Watertown, NY, to visit my elderly aunt in the hospital. She's moving to an assisted-living facility later this week, so we wanted to check the place out and reassure her. The facility is actually quite nice, and her roommate is very pleasant, but it's a very emotional time for my aunt. It took us about four hours each way to make the trip...time well-spent, of course, but still a drive. And, if there's a more depressing city than Watertown, I don't want to know about it.

You should have asked Stacey Keibler!

Hell if I knew who Stacey Keibler was!

So, I consulted my good friend Google.

The invite is being sent as we speak, along with a complimentary photo of me in a sombrero. :lookaroun

... you aren't going...?

No way. Not this year at least. I will next year, being a senior and all. But it's 30 bucks just for the ticket. And I think they're lame anyway. Homecoming was back in October.

So my friend and I are going to DisneyQuest for the night instead. Which, with my AP, costs less than Prom would.

Good for you.
I'd choose Disney over a prom.
But then again, I'm a Disney geek.:lookaroun

P.S. Prom tickets are much worse here...

Yeah, we're both pretty excited. I think we might eat at Raglan Road too. Not sure yet.
