To add to the overall pall across the boards:
My dad works/worked at Ford, but is currently on disability leave. They could ask him to take early retirement at any moment.
As a result, my mom is applying for a full-time job, but is EXTREMELY nervous/doubtful about it.
My sister... well, pre-college jitters, I suppose.
And on top of it all, my grandma's social security people got my grandpa's date of death wrong by 2 days. Medicare got the wrong info, therefore they're currently refusing to pay the $79 000 medical bill for Papa.
...Let it be known that I seem to hate both the education and healthcare system at the moment. :brick:

It always seems that life's frustrations like to pile up all at once.
Just be quietly supportive of your family right now. Not much more you can do to help.

If you're not 100% confident in her school's ability to handle her needs and it's not feasible for her to change schools, then I would look into private testing. Then, when you know where you stand and what she needs by way of help, you can look into tutoring or special classes.

I currently have 10 phone calls that I have to try and make tomorrow while I am home alone from 6:00 am till 11:00 pm with a sick kid with issues...wannna take bets on how many she'll let me make? She doesn't even nap anymore.....

Hey everyone. Sorry to hear about all the bad news around here. Work wasn't too bad. The only really bad thing was that it got really COLD!! I was in pants and a warm jacket. Also, on the way home, the bus was 10 minutes late and had issues with the door (so it took even longer to get going). I hate the bus system around here. And as for Thurs Bonny, I am still working on it. Hopefully within the next day or two I will have good news. Well, off to bed now. Night everyone.

I posted to you yesterday that there are only a few more weeks till January. I haven't forgottten your request for gift ideas and will get on it soon. I've acually had a lot of requests, so I may place a revolving list up at MJ's Spot. MJ asks for you guys all the time and just LOVES that pic we have of Marc and the kitty. I can't wait for you all to go to Pirates and Princesses and give me a report from an MJ POV, that is what we are doing for her birthday.
