Goodness! What's with the ponytail rule?? :veryconfu

she's the only kid in her class (of toddlers!) who has ANY hair. The other kids kept pulling her ponytails out and they were afraid one of the kids was going to swallow her rubberbands... so I got some "no pulls" which are awful to get out of her hair - but they're clear and really tiny so you can't "pull" them out. That seems to be sufficing for now, but the staff wasn't happy with me. I told them my child is not going to sit around all day with her hair in her eyes... I showed up the other day to pick her up and she was eating her hair right along with her crackers... sooo not right.

Bunny! They're so cute! What a handsome bunch you have there! ;) (i love that last pic... hahhaa sooo cute... his little necklace makes me laugh - there's no way my kitties EVER would have let me do that to them  ).

That's their holiday collars. They've got jingle bells on them. It takes them a day or two to get used to the noise. Oh, and that chair in the last pic is Jinx's usual seat during dinner. She gets fed almost ever night by Daddy... against my wishes. He's wrapped around her little finger rather tight!

My thoughts exactly. I was floored when I got the letter... the facility is so nice, the area is great, it's such a good location.... but the food issue was just too much for me. The daycare I have her signed up for has a cook come in and cook chicken, turkey, veggies and fruit daily for teh kids. That's definatly more my level. Their snacks are fresh fruit or animal crackers. I can handle that. They WILL NOT serve anything besides milk and apple juice to the kids.. which I'm very glad about. So.... though I'm not thrilled about the move, i think it'll be a good thing in the end. It's about 5 minutes away from my work, so that's not too bad.

Sounds much better. Seriously. I've never heard of such a thing. Arbys for Toddlers EVERY DAY. :brick:

That's so unreal! Have they never had a child with hair before?

meh - their loss! Just kind of irritating when I think of how many hours I did volunteer work for them doing a lot of the same things that this job would have been, but like I said, it's their loss!

You're right girly... their loss... and what a loss indeed. You'd have been such a great asset.

:wave:Hey Freddy!

Actually chewing on the nails...I think she gets mad when I clip her nails so she bites at them until she makes them into a nice sharp point.

 That'll show you for clipping them, I guess. Funny!

Weird. Poor kiddo. :(

I KNOW!!! That's what I said! Are you kidding me??? *sigh* This new gal is just lazy in my opinion. I signed something saying lizzy is NEVER to get Koolaid... that's so nasty for a baby... but they just disregarded the paper. They are so good about outside security... it's the inside that's got me bothered.

I wonder how many other parents will follow suit and start looking for new childcare?

Koolaid :hurl:

At a friend's kid's birthday party, there was a kid there drinking ORANGE SODA from a BOTTLE... I just looked at them.. This kid wasn't even one yet! Some people. I guess she can kiss all of her baby teeth goodbye!
