We went down to the historic district and explored like tourists!

We took the tour of Independence Hall and waited in a long line to see the Liberty Bell.

It isn't worth going throught security for the Bell these days... I saw it a few years back...

And. . . Connor should know. . .we finally went to the Constitution Center! Yayness! :sohappy: We loved it! I left there feeling like I do when leaving The American Adventure . . .proud and awed by the courage and strength of character of the Founding Fathers. Benjamin Franklin is my hero!

He was in his element.
We haven't seen the Bell up close in years, so it was worth waiting for. So sad that so much security is necessary.

"Freedom Rising" is so good I can't even properly put it into words.
Our narrator (a young Asian man) did a phenomenal job! Such enthusiam!
We didn't spend hours, but we easily could have.
I loved all the exhibits, especially the room with the statues. Standing in front of Ben Franklin, I felt like I was really looking into his face. Chilling!
