Just found something: Islands of Adventure has their own park CD. I just listened to the first song.

It reminds me so much of Epcot, I don't know what to make of it.

REALLY excited.

Luke, if you see this (or Fishy too), any tips? OK, I should say, any tips not already posted here?

I didn't know you were going to USF  :lookaroun

Islands of Adventure is way better by degrees than just the studios. Are you going to both parks?

I don't think the lines will be long. They never are. I think the longest I've ever had to wait for a ride at IOA is 10 minutes for the Hulk. Dueling Dragons is always a walk-on. Always.

It's been a while since I went to IOA. Like, a year maybe? And I didn't spend the whole day there. It doesn't take long to do everything

But it's still a very fun park. Definitely do the coasters, Dr. Doom, Spinderman, Jurassic Park, and Cat in the Hat (that's one of my favorites!) But I'm sure you'll get to do everything.

I'll be there on April 20th for Grad Bash.

Speaking of movies...

I finally got a chance to rent Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

...Awesome. :ROFLOL:

:p

 I forgot about that movie... That was hands down the stupidest, most creative film I've ever seen. LOL

Believe me, the "eating" aspect interests me greatly. :lookaroun

LOL The only thing I'd add Danny, is that we really enjoyed the Hard Rock Hotel. (Except for management, but the jerk is fired now so no worries.) Anyway, they show movies in the pool every evening... and the food is FANTASTIC at the Hard Rock. But... then again, I only walked through the other hotels so I have nothing to compare it to. But the Kitchen was lots of fun and The Palms (I think that's what it was called) was deeeeelicious. :slurp:

Anyway. Sounds like a fun trip - it's not Disney that's for sure... but it is similar to CP in atmosphere, minus the best rides.

One thing that drove me crazy... the walk to the parks from the 3 resorts is LONG. I mean like mile'ish... not that it's crazy or anything... but who wants to walk for 12 hours and then still have a mile, mile 1/2 walk back to their hotel?!

Ok. That's all I have to offer. LOL

Hi Jess!

Dan, I have some stuff to add to hers: I've never been to the hard rock, but I have stayed at the Pacific whatever resrot there. It was nothing special (obviously since I can't remember the name  ). Kind of a Poly lite.

I liked the Portofino Bay. I didn't stay there, but taking the boat into the harbor there is BREATHTAKING.

Is that me?

*sighs*
How would I know?

If only what? :lookaroun :veryconfu :lookaroun

*sighs again*
If only you all could be invited, of course.

Have you heard of the "screw them" method?
Works even better than "Serenity NOW!" :lookaroun

Yes.
And I wouldn't hesitate, normally.
But I'm thinking of my sister.

I like the ape/tiger.
The gas masks make ya' think...

Yes to both.
The murder scene was pretty grisly. :dazzle:

Late to the party again? :D http://forums.wdwmagic.com/showpost.php?p=2104116&postcount=1135

Definitely going to both parks, on Tuesday/Wednesday. Possibly Thursday, so I'll have plenty of time to do everything.

Say... you'd probably know quite a bit about crowds during March Break, seeing as how your state gets invaded annually. How were they in the past, around this time?

Sidenote: 3 people in my first class alone will be visiting UO during the week, so I hope you mention low numbers. :lookaroun

P.S. Staying at Royal Pacific, so I get Universal Express to boot.

Oh and I'm supposed to be packing and moving right now. :lookaroun But I decided I needed a break. I've had it up to here * with packing. :lookaroun

It's weird to think that I'll be in yet another new home tomorrow night. I'm tired of moving. I don't care if this house burns down, I'm planting my behind in the middle and staying awhile. :lookaroun :D

Darn. :lookaroun

Heck, only reason we're going is for my sister's prospective college tour for Eckerd. I'm happy enough already!

Speaking of which... I'm proud to announce that my sister WILL be attending Eckerd College in August. :D :D :D

Anytime.

So can I give Mark a call? :lookaroun It's not like he'd know who I was... and I can say all the thing's you'd like to. I'd do that for you, you know. ;)

I know you would.
Actually, I think everything is okay now.
Mark really is a sweet guy.
He's just really made a mess of this whole thing.
We'll work through it.

Have I told you lately that you have a heart the size of Texas?! You're amazing Dot. That man would have completely set me into a tizzy... but here you are handling it all with grace and thoughtfulness. :)

You're special Dot. Love you!
