MJ's Love Bugs

I've been to Maui with my parents when I was in high school and we went to Haleakala; and then DH and I went there for our honeymoon. I'm totally searching for pics for you!

Unfortunately we lost most of our honeymoon pics. It makes me sad just thinking about it...:( Oh well. We'll have to go again and act like we're newlyweds.

But of all the places I've traveled Haleakala is one of my three most favorite places in the world. I never new what the word "awesome" truly meant until I saw the sun rise from the top of Haleakala. It is truly awe-inspiring. It's like you're watching the creation of the earth. It's really undescribable.

So using that as a name for a child is perfect! :D

 :sohappy:

I just called Dh in to read that.

His reply? "It's a mountain. And we're not hawiian."

Darn. DH, since he works for the state of TN, gets amazing hotel discounts anywhere in the state. But he already turned in his notice... I'm sorry - we could totally have hooked you up! :(
No probs, I appreciate it though.
Well, we wanted Bible names. Abigail really appealed to us, and her middle name is Grace, because it was through God's grace we believe that we were able to have her. Our boy's name was a little more difficult, because we had so many friends that had boys and we wanted to be unique. In the end he became Joel Michael (middle name after his dad). :)
My parents were expecting girls, they had 3 boys, so we are named Tery, Daniel, and Tracy. What a shock when we all ended up having.....never mind. You get the picture.:lookaroun

May I just say that I really really really love you guys? I was incredibly touched by Dana's kind gesture...

It's been a rough couple of days here, what with my grandfather's heart attack, and my busted pipe, and I really appreciate all of you guys. Your love and support is truly amazing, and is such an uplifting force in my life. I cannot imagine how worse off I would be right now if I hadn't decided to start posting in Chit Chat a year or so ago... and now look at our little community...

THIS is what neighborhoods were supposed to be like. It's such a wonderful feeling to know that the spirit of community lives on, and even though we may be seperated by miles, states, and even a country, we are all linked inexorably...

It made me break down and cry this morning when I checked my voice mail and my PM from Dana. You are such wonderful people and I am blessed to have you all in my life...

Awww, we love you too Bunny. It's been great having you be a part of the MJ family.

:D One iGodmother coming up!

And lots of iAunts iUncles and iCousins too!

Yay!:sohappy:

I forgot to ask...

If anyone is interested in seeing my online photo album from our WDW trip, PM me your e-mail address and I'll send it to you. :D

Though beware of goofy poses.

Mine is on the way.

Today was a day of many lasts.

It was very sad.

*HUGS* Luke. It is very sad. I know that feeling very well.

Howdy everyone. I "officially" found out my work location today. I am working at.....Epcot WS!! I am sooooo excited. If I work nights, I will get to see Illuminations! Also, I got my ID today and went over to the MK for an hour or so. I saw many friends.

She's going to slip up soon. :lookaroun  :lookaroun

I'm trying my hardest not to! :p

Agreed...and you'll want something you both can live with...because I mean...that's gonna be that kid's name for the rest of it's life. (Well without changing it! )

Right... but he had no problem saddling the kiddo with a name like Caesar for the rest of its life though...

Biblical names are always in style. And I LOVE the name of Grace. We can't do any names with G because of our last name... 2 G's would be terrible to inflict on a kid. Their initials would be GG!

Well, I'm off to make dinner... Talk to you all later!

That's AWESOME Jo! Is that where you wanted to be? What will you be doing there? Will you be in a certain country or can you move around? Details missy! ;)

My late MIL always wanted girls and had three boys. Now she has the legacy of two granddaughters. She would have loved knowing them. :)

I was supposed to work today, but I got into a car crash when I was almost at work. I rear-ended the person in front of me when I started falling asleep in the car (and the glaring sun didn't help matters either). I feel like poopy especially because of the money, but whatever. I hope to get over it. My dad says I need my WDW trip now. It's been a horrible year so far, except for my graduation day.

Note to self: Don't get in a car with Reg. :lookaroun

I am glad to be working at Epcot. It was one of my choices. I am doing custodial mostly (though I will also be picking up attendant shifts as well). I think I will be moving around the whole Showcase. I can't wait to see Illuminations.
