It's a single family detached. No garage... but a nice size shed in the back yard. It has 3 bedrooms... a nice size kitchen and a Florida Room (sun room for all you northerners) The living/family room isn't terribly big... but the floor plan is very open, which I prefer. The 2 smaller bedrooms are pretty tiny, but manageable. Perfect for small children... My favorite part is the big backyard with 2 Oak Trees. It needs soooooooo much work. But we got it for 20k under market. And it should cost us less than 3k to fix the whole thing up... so it'll be nice to have some equity as soon as it's finished.
(though I'm thinking of kicking our therapists tush for suggesting we get into something that required us working together :lookaroun)
However... we got it DIRT cheap. LOL That's a nice feature. We really didn't need the added stress of a high mortgage right now.
Not much to say other than I'm going to be pretty tired for the next few weeks while we work on it.
Sounds like a perfect house for a young family!
It will be stressful, but it will give you guys a chance to prove what you can do. . .together. Patience, love. It will work out.
