MJ's Funny Valentines...:)

I just got part of the art books I sent for - one of them is Georgia O'Keefe - my pottery teacher said my work makes him think of her - although she was a painter. She took the beauty of nature and magnified it. I love things that are organic and simple, so her work speaks to me.
I need to visit an art museum....sigh.....

Wow, that's high praise indeed Jenny!

Bye Jess! Have fun, remember this.... you can either tell a guy what to do or how to do it, NOT BOTH!

*sigh* oops.
I'll think I'll stitch that one up into a sampler and frame it.

Care to stitch it on my forehead? :lookaroun

Its not original, I got that on an email... BUT it is TRUE. ONE OR THE OTHER!!!

OK OK. I got it now. :lookaroun

*giggle*

I know this sounds weird but it works...

Get 2 que tips and stick them in your nose (1 in each side if both sides are clogged). . I know, I know that sounds funny but try it.. it takes about 2 minutes... it has worked for me...
*giggle*

What happened, Honeybunch?

Meh. Stuff. Read back a couple of pages and learned a few things from Rick though...

1. JUST ONE.
2. How to look like a dork while clearing the sinuses.

Anyway, I'm back... miss anything good?

(those hands are going to give me nightmares btw)

Sorry, hon, that's my fault - I liked them :o

My DH sticks kleenex up his nose when he's all drippy - I've learned not to look. :lookaroun

Sorry your plans didn't pan out, but glad to have you back!
Yes. Rick gives dorky advice. :lookaroun (He did go home, right?)
You didn't miss anything of importance.
And yes, those hands are somewhat nightmarish.

Ew. Although... I'm becoming more used to the drippy nose thing... my kid seems to have the everlasting drip going on. If it's not in her hair, it's in her eyebrows and smeared across her cheeks, sleeve, and occassionally, my sleeve. Usually anywhere but the nose.

I know - Joel's a fountain of snot right now. And he can't figure out how to blow his nose, so I'm constantly chasing after him with kleenex. Last year around Valentine's day he missed school because of a bad cold, and he's got one again. I have to go in to the school, though, because I need to bind books for a couple of teachers and do paperwork for PTG. Of course, that's assuming we aren't snowed in.....

That sounded rather Connor'ish, Dot. ;)

 Well here's hoping for a snow day if little man's sick... and if not... here's hoping for clear roads with no black ice, and a non drippy nose in the morning. :)

So tell me about the house Jess. . .
How many rooms does it have?
Is it a single home?

It's a single family detached. No garage... but a nice size shed in the back yard. It has 3 bedrooms... a nice size kitchen and a Florida Room (sun room for all you northerners ;)) The living/family room isn't terribly big... but the floor plan is very open, which I prefer. The 2 smaller bedrooms are pretty tiny, but manageable. Perfect for small children... My favorite part is the big backyard with 2 Oak Trees. It needs soooooooo much work. But we got it for 20k under market. And it should cost us less than 3k to fix the whole thing up... so it'll be nice to have some equity as soon as it's finished.

(though I'm thinking of kicking our therapists tush for suggesting we get into something that required us working together :lookaroun)

However... we got it DIRT cheap. LOL That's a nice feature. We really didn't need the added stress of a high mortgage right now.

Not much to say other than I'm going to be pretty tired for the next few weeks while we work on it.
