I really enjoyed talking to you too! Is there anyone who can come over and stay with MJ for an hour or two so you can do some shopping? I want to at least have the kids' shopping done before Thanksgiving and minimize having to deal with those charming holiday crowds. I completely avoid the news the day after Thanksgiving, because I can't stand the stories of how some lady got run over in Walmart, so people could get a $29 dollar DVD player! Sorry, a little off topic...but just had to be said!

I'm doing... well, I'm holding up, I guess. It's been a really crappy week/November around here. Between my dad's surgery (now scheduled for December 18, so one wonders how Christmas will work out), my mom coming in 4th out of 5 for her first job interview in 15 years (and yet, the person who got hired is going on maternity leave, so Mom has to cover for her ANYWAY), my sister worrying about a blood drive tomorrow (not to mention college, as usual), and my grandma no longer remembering who I am...

It's a pretty bad time around these parts.

They are like tornados....sigh, I asked him to move the furniture around to accomodate the decorations and he moved the furniture and left everything that was in or on it for me to sort through.....Grrrrrrrrr

Did I mention that my sister, despite having signed up for the drive, is deathly afraid of needles? (I mean, I understand her intentions, but if she's THAT scared, what good is it doing herself?)

One thing I know, though: I'm DEFINITELY doing it next year (when it's legal for me to do so).

Back. He has both a herniated disc and cartilage pinching on his spinal nerves from both sides.

Oooooh....that's ouchy.
My dad's got three herniated discs, but for some reason, they couldn't operate on his.
He just has to go to the chiropractor for adjustments.
He hadn't gone in a long while, but when I had my tailbone issues, he got back into the swing of going.

I actually have mild scoliosis, thanks to my height. (Back's a little misaligned.) Been seeing Mr. Bones for about a month now. :wave:
