Oh you're buying a house!
That's awesome Jess! I hope everything falls exactly into place!

LOL I sure hope so... :) We'll see. The house I want has had 3 offers but no one has been able to get the financing through. (Most likely b/c it's one of those "first time homebuyers" houses... so it's alot of young couples or young singles without the credit and job history to get an approval) I'm lucky though, i have an in house finance department here at Remax... so I already have my lender verification in hand. Soooo based on that I'm hoping they'll accept my offer and just move forward quickly. The price they were asking is very reasonable, so I put together a full price offer and just asked for some closing costs. If they agree (which I can't see why they wouldn't, charleston is still a hot market, but these people are having a time getting someone with bank approval to buy it) then... hopefully... *fingers crossed* hopefully we'll get it. LOL

Absolutely! About 2/3 of the class has some sort of special need, and the teacher has taught special needs kids for many years, so he's in good hands. Right now he's sitting on the family room floor watching his daily dose of Cars . Loves this movie - has been re-enacting parts of the movie with his own cars - the first time EVER that I've seen him recreate a movie with his toys. Pixar has been awesome for this boy - he adores every single one of their films.

MJ does the smae thing! Right now her most frequently reenacted are the Fight between Gaston and Beast in BatB and the fight scene in Indiana Jones Stunt Show...

Sounds very promising Jess! How big is the house?

lol I look at the encouraging side. These people are also difficult to work with from what I've heard and are stubborn to a fault. So... I try to look at the bright side of things and hope that I'm the fit they've been waiting on. :)

I haven't gotten a flying tackle hug in ages. . .
They hurt!
But they also feel really nice! :)
Thanks Jess!

LOL Anytime sweetie! ;)

Ok guys... I'm off for the afternoon/evening. I'll stop back in around 9 or so. :) Hope y'all have a great day!

Merry Christmas early! ;)

Well it has an addition. But, including that it's 1800 sq feet, 3 br, 2 ba. Pretty standard first time home for the Charleston area. :) But... I'm completely in love with the layout. It has this gorgeous shaby chic chandelier in the dining room that sold me on the house. ;) The kitchen is central and I can see the family room and the living room from there so i can watch Lizzy. It has a pool (that needs some serious attention) but along with the pool is a hard cover that seals off the sides, so no worries with lizzy. From the outside it looks small and old. lol but i love the look on the inside. Smaller bedrooms and larger living space, which I love, as that's where we spend all our time. EDIT: but just to show you the massive differance in what you get for your money compared to all y'all up north... the house is only $142,000 lol up there i think in most places i'd be looking at $500k or more. LOL :) So, i'm a bit spoiled. ;)

Wow! I hope everything goes well with that, Nibbs!
Here's hoping anything they find is minor!
I'm hoping it will be. The guy who we had inspect our house ourselves was very throughough...and the stuff he found was "minor." So that's good. Hopefully this stuff will be too.

What sucks though is that there are a few electrical plates off of some outlets and they have to be put on by a licensed electrician...even though it's a job a monkey could do. :( So I've gotta pay a licensed guy to do stupid things like that.
