I don't even like the term "spanking". Giving it a name just implies a thought out action to me. I personally don't believe in it. A quick swat on the rear, maybe, to get attention is as far as I'd go. Just my opinion.

That is me also. Just to get the attention but that is all. I know I was spanked as a child and I grew up to be a decent person. My parent did not beat me just got my attention. They taught me to respect rules and regulations and my elders.

That only lasts about a month around here. :lol: I have extra roll holders in each bathroom, so that's 18 right there, when they've all been restocked. The remainders go in the linen closet, and they will be gone in a couple of weeks to replace those used. My family goes through a LOT of toilet paper; at least no one can ever say we're full of ........ :lol:

When they were in grade school, my girls had friends (two sisters) who could count on a spanking if they came home with less than 90 in any subject on their report card. I can't imagine instilling that kind of fear. That's abusive in my book.

We have one bathroom with a tiny closet, so I have to store the 50or so rolls in the basement. Amazingly enough, I'm apparently the only one in the house who knows where they are though, since I'm always the one who has to replenish the upstairs supply!
