Somehow I think Lizzy's leaning towards your DS's side. It's going to be a loooong road ahead.

Along with those joyous moments comes a few of these though: Imagine months of getting little to no sleep... Imagine being a zombie for much of those first few months and barely even remembering them b/c you have so little sleep.... Imagine having to wake yourself up (that is if you ever made it to sleep) at 4am to give this squirmy little stinky thing a bath b/c they just had a blowout and it's in their hair... not to mention their jammies, blankets, sheets and anything else they came in contact with... Imagine not fitting into your clothes for several months, AFTER you have the baby and no longer have an excuse... Imagine your hips never being the same again, sitting down and standing up makes you feel like you need a walker after having a baby... Imagine all the times you'll have to hold your child down while they get shots, or reset...

Along with all the good things - much of parenting can stink, big time. Maybe this will help you get through until next month, knowing you can still get a good nights sleep, sleep in on a Saturday if you want, get away with just the two of you... and basically have your own life, if only for another month. ;)

 Jenny you make me laugh so hard.

You just described parenting PERFECTLY! But you forgot to mention the highlight of your day is a hot shower!

Laughter's the best medicine, I'm told! :D

Morning Peeps...well, this is not starting out to be a good week....Our van spiked the temp gauge on the way home, Andrew's dad is on his way over to have triple a tow it to a garage, this could be potentially devastating....I am so worried, without that van we are completely stuck, we can't get our chairs to the parks or anything.....please, please, if you are the praying sort, pray hard that it is something cheap and easy to fix...I am really worried, without that van many, many things are in peril, MJ's bday, her Spina Bifida Tests, Andrew's job....

I'll pray right now...

Probably something simple. Stuck Thermostat valve maybe, cheap and fairly easy to fix.

Got it!
*makes mental note of what Jess-er-in just said*

:fork:

It's Jess ERIN Geez people! ;) Which coincedentally the only person who calls me Jess Erin is my daddy. And it was usually when he was ticked. :lookaroun

Most people stick to Jessie, or Jess. :)

Indeed... A hot shower is worth more than almost anything those first few months. Looking back, i'm amazed that I brought Lizzy into my (very casual) office just 3 days after having her and worked for 3 hours while she slept next to me. Logic was not my strong point those first few weeks. hahahaha

Or...... Episode 5! Echo Base, Echo Base.....

*bangs head* Rick, you're a geek.  :D

What soaps do you watch?

I don't actually...just was using that 'stay at home mom stereotype' I used to watch them (pre-kids), but I got tired of them. Same basic plot of cheating, depression, revenge...and you could go back in 6 months, and the plot wouldn't change much. Not trying to offend anyone that does watch them - just not my cup of tea! Tea..hmmm, that's sounds good! :slurp:

Already watched Episode 5 last night, Rick...right now it's Muppets :)

My son just called me and told me Thank You. I said your welcome and for what. He told me he was called in to his bosses office and asked if he would work a differant shift because he has good work ethics. He was told that yesterday they had seen him work when noone else was working even when the bosses were out. He has only been on this job now for 2 weeks. He said that we brought him up right and said Thank You for teaching him the right ways.:sohappy: :sohappy:

Maybe it's a leak in the radiator. :o Either way... I'll pray that y'all get back on top of things quickly. It's amazing how much we rely on our vehicles.

I missed seeing you this week Bonny... but I think God had his hand on it after all... I've been sick most of the week, and I'd have hated to get you and little miss sick. :(

Hope you and Bunny had fun the other day! :)

((hugs))

I really don't watch them, I watch at them. I put them on sometimes to remind me of the time. They are on in the other room so when I walk by I know I have so much time left before picking up the girls from school.:o :lookaroun

That's so sweet! Yay for being a good Mom Susan! :sohappy:

My daughter told us last night DH and I were her 'heroes' because we were bringing her up with the right values...I was a little amused, but got a warm fuzzy feeling around my heart. Maybe I can pull this parenting thing off!

Thank you guys. I am really scared, can't cry in front of MJ and Andrew, but that van is so critical to our life, it's not like we can just use public transportation...

I missed seeing you too Jess, this makes twice, maybe we are destined not to meet :(

can you tell I am down and pessimistic today? Sorry to be a bummer

{{Hugs}} and UBER prayers for you guys...actually I'll wait until I go to lunch to do the praying. :) Hopefully it's something that's easily fixable.

Gotta keep your chin up bonny. :) If mama's down and pessimistic, the whole house is likely to follow. We'll meet someday... the van will get fixed somehow... someway... and you'll be back to park hopping and birthday planning in no time!

Bonny I was like that the other day. Even today I read to "Be Still and Know the I AM God." and he will be there for you. :sohappy:
