AMEN. I had to hold her still while they reset it... she just stared at me and sobbed. It was awful, I just stared right back and sobbed along with her. :o

We had something similar but not with Bones, anyway something had to be done that was going to hurt and I rubbed her hair and her head, looked her in the eyes and tried my best to let her know it was going to better in a moment. I didn't cry at all. When it was done, I gave her a big hug and a kiss, gave her to her mommy, went outside and cried like a baby!

 That reminds me... when we went in for our ultrasound, it took us 3 visits and a HUGE Mt. Dew to get Lizzy to wake up and uncross her legs long enough for the Ultrasound Tech to be able to tell.

Kayden took 3 visits as well, she was very modest! She'd Better stay that way till she's 25!

You're stronger than I. :o Watching our babies hurt is awful. Nothing in the world can move me like tears in Elizabeth's eyes. Nothing.

LOL (of course - since it's so friggin cold she had on tights, a onsie and bloomers. :lookaroun - but still...)

DD used to do that too - it's cute at 1, not so much at 25...

Oh just wait, it'll get worse. Were dancing last night (She's dancing, I'm girating like someone with severe disabilities) and starts this facing the other way, stickin her hind in out, looking over her shoulder at me and shakes her botty... What am I supposed to do about that?

   Is it bad that my 16 month old does that already too?! She learned it in Daycare... yes right along with The Wheels on the Bus, she somehow learned Baby Got Back... Kids these days. I don't know what's worse... the teachers who teach them, or the darn smart kids who pick it up so fast.

Jess! I'm so sorry this vacation isn't what you hoped - I really hope everyone is better soon.
I know about watching your kids hurt. Joel is really talented that way. When he was three, he tripped and conked his forehead on the edge of our fireplace hearth - stitches. My sister had to experience that one. Last summer he was running back and forth across the family room (one of his stimming things) and his foot hit the corner of the wall - just badly bruised, but he wore a cast just to be sure. We've also had to have tons of blood work on him, which means practically laying on him and holding his arm out so the nurses can do their work. :( He always recovers quicker than I do!

Hi guys!

Just wanted to stop in for a quick hello before I go off to work!

So I have good news and not so good news here....the good news is that my first nephew was born yesterday!!!:sohappy: Both him and mommy are doing very well (except that her MIL is driving her crazy!) The not so good news is that there will be no babies here :( We were both sad last night, but it will happen when it's supposed to happen. :)

Hope the crew in WDW is having fun!

Sooooo quick update from the "world"

Wednesday night... after I checked in with y'all that afternoon - kiddo decided to jump out of her stroller and have a lovely crash landing (nose first) while dislocating her wrist and elbow. The nurse at AK said to keep it still and that it just seemed bruised, so we took her back, put her to bed at 7 and at 9pm she woke up screaming bloody murder. Soooo off to the ER by the time we got in and taken care of it was after midnight. Annnnd after many painful x-rays it was determined she dislocated... not bruised her wrist and elbow. Sooo then they reset it, and i think I cried almost as hard as she did. But, within 3 minutes of them resetting everything she was moving and wiggling again... but by the time we got back to the room it was almost 2 am. Which foiled our plans for meeting up with Krystina and Dot. :( However George said they had fun so I'm happy for them! :)

Also to add to that lovely rendition - while at the ER they ran blood work on me (as I was still sick with a migraine and stomach something or another) and I was told I have a stomach virus. They shut down 3 local schools today b/c hundreds of kids had gone home sick with stomach viruses. *rollseyes* So of course I would have to get it. So... I didn't leave the room yesterday until after 7pm - just long enough to walk around Epcot for about 20 minutes and then head back... walking very very s l o w l y. LOL Today I'm feeling a little better so I might join back up with kiddo and Jay here in a little while. Just thought I'd sneek by and give all of you "left behind" a reason to smile and know that not all of us are having such a grandeous time. ;)

Anyway... for the first time ever (while on vacation) I am SO ready to go home. LOL Although - I'm taking it easy today so that I have the energy to meet up with Dot and Luke tonight. I'm officially not contagious, so as long as I can get up the energy to go - I'll be there no matter what. :)

Lysol 's all around. ;)

Jess I hope things get better for your vacation down there. Take care of yourself. I hope things are going good with you and Jay and of course Lizzy.

OH NOOOOO!!! That is the pits!!!! Well, It can only get better from here on out. Keep Positive! I can handle pain pretty well, watching my DD go through it is unbareable.!

I cried when I had to take the boys to get stitches. My oldest had to have stitches one yr when we went to WDW. We weren't in the parks yet. But he couldn't go on any rides for at least 24 hrs since the stitches were on his head. So we wnt to NASA the next day instead.

Hey, that's not too bad..... Sounds like somebody was maybe hoping for another outcome to the little test though..

Your day will come too - just ask Bunny about that one. I know you're disappointed now though.

DD never had major injuries, but DS is on a first name basis with the staff at the emergency room. He's had stitches, casts, allergic reactions, ace bandages, you name it.
