MJ's Birthday Blessings!

I don't actually...just was using that 'stay at home mom stereotype' I used to watch them (pre-kids), but I got tired of them. Same basic plot of cheating, depression, revenge...and you could go back in 6 months, and the plot wouldn't change much. Not trying to offend anyone that does watch them - just not my cup of tea! Tea..hmmm, that's sounds good! :slurp:

Already watched Episode 5 last night, Rick...right now it's Muppets :)

AHHHH, you watched it without me, I feel like Han Solo when Lando hands him over to Vader.... Thanks ... BUDDY!!!!

awwww... well a big high five for you too Jenny! :sohappy: Sounds like you girls are doing some great things in those kiddo's of yours! (Got any tips for the newbies? ;))

So are you Jess...so are you - you have a happy little girl there, based on all those cutie-pie pictures. Tips? Rely on your common sense and tune out the 'experts' - they're just trying to sell a book! And ENJOY EVERY DAY - it goes by too fast, and then you cry as they go to kindergarten

Thank you guys. I am really scared, can't cry in front of MJ and Andrew, but that van is so critical to our life, it's not like we can just use public transportation...

I missed seeing you too Jess, this makes twice, maybe we are destined not to meet :(

can you tell I am down and pessimistic today? Sorry to be a bummer

Hang in there, hon! You always have my prayers  !

Just be there for them. Teach them to work hard for what they want.:lookaroun Try not to let them drive you crazy in the process.

Now to listen to my own advice with the girls. Oh and just a reminder my DD (oldest and in 7th grade) takes the SAT test tomorrow morning. Duke U. is watching over some of the students and getting them to take the SAT tests to see what they really know at this age. If I understand it right. Next yr I think they will take it again.:sohappy:

Well, if I watched it with you, then you wouldn't have been able to watch your daughter do her 'booty' dance :D ....priorities, priorities, Rick. Just make sure you get that on video next time!!!!

That is true also on the "experts" They might think they know what is good but do they?

Thanks Jenny. She is a happy girl, no doubt about that.

But... Time is flying... I sense it every day and I wish i could just slow it down and enjoy these moments more with her. It's such a mix of emotions watching her grow up so quickly, I love it and i hate it all in one. :o

First day of Kindergarten is going to be awful for me i just know it, she'll be all smiles and all excited. And I'll be holding back the tears until after she leaves. I just know it.

My son just called me and told me Thank You. I said your welcome and for what. He told me he was called in to his bosses office and asked if he would work a differant shift because he has good work ethics. He was told that yesterday they had seen him work when noone else was working even when the bosses were out. He has only been on this job now for 2 weeks. He said that we brought him up right and said Thank You for teaching him the right ways.:sohappy: :sohappy:

Way to go Susie, A tribute to your parenting abilities... I still can not believe way back when we were doing introduction you said you were not smart... SHAME On YOU... Look at all you have done right.. VERY WISE!

LOL I've noticed... DH seems to believe everything he reads... and get's completely confused when two authors disagree.

Thanks Susan, that's great advice... I hope I can stick to it as there's already been a few days that i've been teetering on the edge of going crazy. I can't even imagine the teen years.
