Thanks to everyone who wished me luck today!!! :)


So.... the meeting started at 3 and I didn't get on the road until almost 5:30... it was over 2 hours long. I was expecting an interview... but that wasn't what it was at all...

He told me he was going to give me a basic overview of everything and help me understand everything better but wanted me to give him questions I had so he knew how to customize it for me... then he just talked for like 2 hours after I talked for a bit. And he sold me, I absolutely am 100% positive this is what I want to do with my life... And as he finished his spiel and everything he said "so... as you know this wasn't an interview, it was actually the first step in my recruiting process... I recruit, I don't interview... interviewing is me asking you stupid questions while you sit there and give me stupid answers that mean nothing... I don't get to know who you are and you don't get to know who I am or what I and the company am about. This is just as much about our decision on you as it is your decision on us."

He then went on to tell me about how I will be contacted friday or monday and asked if I want to continue on... at that point I will meet with one of his Sales Managers... have a 2 hour meeting with him, if that goes well and if he reccommends me, then they will contact me again and ask if I want to continue... so I'll meet with another sales manager; she and I will meet for 2 more hours and after that... she's decide whether or not to reccommend me and if she does... i get contact and asked again if I wanna continue... after her there is one more meeting... same deal... and after that if I get asked to come back and I still wanna do it... I will meet with the guy I meet with today and go over details and everything.

So today was an intro; then there's three legitimate recruiting meetings (basically interviews except they don't ask questions but rather just get a feel of who I am and I get a feel of who they are... the guy today talked the entire time so he didn't get to know me) and I have to pass all three of those... and if I do... I'm in and have a final meeting...

It's a really really intense process... but I hope I get it because this is something I really think I would be good at and something that really interests me....

Good morning everyone. Who watched Idol last night? Good Lord, what were some people thinking? The first guy (Ian) was horrible (both singing, and just plain mean!). He even made the 10pm news here. The singing cowgirl. She even admitted she couldn't sing. And the others. Hoo boy. I don't have class until 10, and then I will be home around 1:30 or so.
