Yes, if only.
Not that there is a cure. People with dyslexia generally find their own way around. Our neighbor also specializes in focusing problems. After the testing he did on George he told George that his mind works best while trying to focus on two things at once. He told him that when he is doing something that demands concentration he needs background sound . . .not television or anything else with voice. That would be a distraction instead of a help. He told him to have simple piano music playing in the background. One part of his mind will focus on the mellow music while the other focuses on the work at hand, thus making for a more harmonic work atmosphere. I found that fascinating!
I've heard of that before, and it does make sense. It's fascinating how the brain works so differently for each of us!

Hello...

My midterms are DONE. FINISHED. COMPLETE. ETC., ETC.!!!

The algebra one sucked.
I thought I was going to cry while trying to do it.

The Spanish one, however, was a BREEZE.

Gunna make myself some waffles.
The frozen kind.
Well...not frozen while eaten, but...oh you, know.

OK....be back lataaa gataas.
(That's just a cool way of spelling 'later gators.')

Isn't it though?
While George is almost manic in his approach to work, I work best concentrating on one task at a time till everything is done. Probably why my coffee schlepping job drives me crazy. I'm always doing at least 10 things at once. Oh well, I guess it's good to challenge myself once in a while!
