Can I vent? It's been a stinky day....

Major news in this area - a grandmother and granddaughter were driving Sunday, hit an icy patch, and went into the Tuscarawas river. People tried to form a human chain to reach the car, but couldn't reach it. They weren't able to pull the car and two bodies out till today, but it's headline news at a Cleveland news station. The grandmother was 89 and the grandaughter was 16. The ironic thing is that 13 years ago a mother had some sort of seizure and went into the river with her two young kids just down the road from where this happened...:(
Other news....my niece's father-in-law passed away suddenly today. They think it was his heart, but he was only 55.
I know this is a bummer, but it's all I can think about right now...

Oh, Jenny, that is a terrible story...so, so sad. :( I'm sorry it's been such an icky day for you. :(

So...I taped Fashion on Ice the other day and just got to put it on.

Now, I had my trepidations about this from the start, but wait, it gets worse...

The live entertainment is Chris Issac. I had no idea who this was and I must say that my liking of his music is tainted by my view of his image...he wore a Manuel suit (according to Andrew) all I can say is that he looked like a car wreck between a mariachi player, Elvis and a salt & pepper shaler. His music really wasn't much better.

The skating costumes aren't any better. They are all designed by Luca Luca and are um, very silver and very skimpy....I was particularly appalled by the one that looked like he had just shaken sillver glitter on her butt....

Okay, MJ is asleep. Off to watch Studio 60. I will save this show just to provide colorful commentary later....
