How far along is she again? Maybe a massage? Or a pedicure? A day of pampering followed by a night out to dinner

3 months, in fact in 1 week she has an ultrasound and we are supposed to find out what we are having, I mean besides a human.
Pedicure and diner out, that might work! I was afraid you all were going to say, Diamonds, Jewlery and so on. I can not pick all that out. I got lucky with her engagement ring.

I asked her what she wants and she said wood floors. I said ok I'll order the plywood tomorrow, she didn't laugh!

For me, anyway, when my first was that age, just having some time away with DH was important. Of course I was doing day-care in my home at the time, so my life basically consisted of changing diapers and cleaning up messes, and I spoke mostly in Sesame Street phrases....

I might add that I am truly impressed that you, Rick, our token married man, are truly amazing. Not too many spouses of your gender consider Valentine's gifts any time before the 13th of February! :lol:

Thanks hon! I just hope my niece and her husband didn't run into bad weather going over to his mom. I think they live some where near Altoona, PA.

Rick, may I say that I am impressed too? The church is having a couples dinner over here, so our gift will probably be getting a babysitter for that night.

Well thank-you but in all honesty, this is part of a new years resolution....I have not missed one yet, but I have been guilty of getting a gift the night before...
She is starting to show and struggling with how she looks. I don't think she believes me when I tell her how beautiful she is, and I don't do "all the time", so I wanted to put some effort into this Valentines Day. I am the luckiest guy in the world, (almost as lucky as everybody here's DH and DBF's I'm sure!)

Ours is having a valentines banquet as well and we are signed up for that.
And Jenny, I was reading back about yesterday.....I have a hard time with stories like that... I don't what to tell you except that today is another day. And for every story on the news of utter tragedy, I believe there are hundreds of good ending stories that we never here about.

Without getting too political here, that's one of my biggest complaints about the news coverage of the Iraq situation. There are many good things going on there too, thanks to our troops, but all we hear about here are the tragic ones.

True...it's no wonder people are cynical and jaded. We need more good news! And even out of tragedy, good can come; it just takes some time to see that.

Think about it... a website that is dedicated to linking to only good news stories.....Some would say we are living in a fantasy world...We wouldn't ignore the bad news, just only link to the good news, stories of hope and faith....Hmmmmm *Calls copyright lawyer*

Friday... Those poor people who went to the first one last night got rained on pretty hard at times. But it looks like good weather this Friday. Keeping my fingers crossed.
