Hello Jenny!
How are you?

Fine. I was just reading my e-mail, where I get 1-2 times per week the Schafer Autism report, and was reading about this case of a teacher in Seminole County, FL charged with abuse of disabled kids from 2001-04. Her defense attorney is requiring these students to take the stand, even though they are not mentally competent. It sounds like their going to be used as 'exhibition A' of how hard this teacher had it  . How dare they do that to these kids? They're people, not a bunch of circus freaks for the 'normal' people to look at! The rest of the defense basically says the aides that reported this abuse are lying. I wonder if this is the same district Bonny was talking about?

That could be - I think she mentioned Seminole County before.

I have to pick up DS at school, so I'd best be going. Hopefully I'll be on later.

Hiiiii.

I feel a lot better right now. Still a little out of sorts, but NOTHING compared to last night. This is more of a vertigo type deal than a room-spinning-need-to-lay-down type thing that was going on last night.

Anyway. I'm going to go watch Cool Hand Luke and write a 1-2 minute speech about how I like words for class tonight.

And my mom's verdict: I need electrolytes. That fixed it the last time this happened, so I'm going to down a gatorade before class and see if that helps. Almost went to the doctor this morning, but I was good enough to drive myself to school, so I went

I really don't think it's hypoglycemia because I donated blood in September/October of 2005 and they didn't say anything about it. This is my regular "stop being an idiot and eat right" wake up call from my body.

 Back from lunch!

No, it was just about you two driving to the airport, and you got lost getting there. You were bickering, kind of sit-com style, and it was just really funny.

I need help.....

Betty, that sounds like a Seinfeld episode!

1/2 of my exams are done!!

YAY!!!! :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:

Now, in a few minutes, I am going to attempt to make some ravioli.
Everybody cross your fingers. :lookaroun

Good for you Freddy! :sohappy: Imagine how relieved you'll feel once you're 100% done!

How were the exams?

And about the ravioli. . .just open the can. . .no biggie!
Mehhhh.
Science was tricky.
English was just long.
I think screwed up the poem analysis.
And the section on 'The Odysessy.'
Let's just say I detest Homer. And not of the Simpsons fame.

The ravioli were from the freezer. And in a bag.
And then I had to add the sauce, too.

Oooh...dizziness is NOT fun.
Actually, I was feeling kind of dizzy before...hmmm.

Can't wait!
My son is in Thomas (the Tank Engine) land right now....sigh.
I used to LOVE Thomas! :)

That's a good land :)

Yes, he has several of the engines...we buy the wooden ones because he prefers to make the engines go himself, instead of batteries. He got a couple of new engines for his birthday, and my mom got him little Thomas laptop computer from VTech. We were I.D.ing capital letters last night with it and he was doing great.
