Oh I love the super sweet smell of those ice cream places...but the smell at Cold Stone doesn't match the taste of the ice cream there. (Especially the chocolate...you'd think it would taste like chocolate, but to me it has absolutely no flavor)

Never tried gellato though...and I'm pretty sure I don't want to either.

Why? Its a super creamy ice cream. I had pistacchio and it tasted like the nuts, not the sweet green stuff you usally get. :slurp:

No, its an ice cream. It has no air pumped into it so it is very dense and creamy. Give it a try. Its almost always mixed with fruit or nuts. They even had tiramisu, pineapple, chocolate mint, strawberry and about 10 other flavors at the place I went to. In EPCOT they have a gelato stand in Italy...its a donkey.
