MJ Birthday Blessings II

I need to go and I will leave with this, something that I hear allot these days!

Many people say (and I have been guilty myslef),
"doesn't matter what we have as long as its healthy"
*cue soft violins for effect*

I thought about this allot when we had Kayden. There is nothing wrong with Praying for a healthy baby, but maybe more importantly, if you pray, pray that my wife and I will be the kind of parents we need to be for whoever God gives us. Bonnie, Jenny and Dana are SOOO special. I really believe that they have been chosen specifically because God knew that they were the type of parents that could handle the VERY SPECIAL children that God wanted to give them. Not that the rest of us are any less special, I think you know what I am trying to say. Anyway, pray for health, pray for me and my wife. Faniles are the foundation of our society, and they are so important. I hope that all you will go home tonight, or look right now at the family God gave you and thank Him for them. Truly, like I say many times, I am THE LUCKIEST MAN IN THE WORLD! and all that is, is the husband to a beautiful wife, Kayden's daddy and the father of a son.

I am a most definite momma's boy.
My brother and sister are much older than I am, and we hav different fathers, so I'm not really sure what they were.
Their father left when they were 7, so most likely they were momma's little twinies. (They are twins.)

awwwww well Mama's boys know how to treat a lady (usually, if they can let go of the apron strings long enough) Sooo it's all good. ;)

Yep...still not making me want to have a kid!!!

Well It's all true... so if you're not ready to do 10 loads of laundry a day with a crying, squirmy, smelly little fuzzy thing that you love more than life itself at your feet... No... I'd say probably not ready.

I wouldn't say that.

See? Every house is different. ;)

*announcer's voice*

Jess, you have won a wonderful day in....Baby Land. Be prepared to be spit up on, have food thrown at you, and to have to put up with temper tantrums on this lovely vacation

A total value of the rest of your life

You forgot alot there... but you catch our drift. hahahaha

and your vocabulary too!

Oh dear... that's the sad part. You no longer communicate with a normal vocabulary. Suddenly words like... stinky, wah wah, ba ba, dada, mamamama, and my personal favorite... pooter head, come into play.

Hi Connor...:)

Thanks Jess..for the text...:)

 didn't want you to miss out on all the congratulating. ;)

Not to mention how interested they get in....ummmm, examining things! :D

Just pray your boy doesn't want to become Peter Pan....*I can fly!....off of the roof :lookaroun *

Wait... that's Lizzy! :lookaroun

That's how she dislocated her arm in 2 places. Jumping off her stroller like super man. Silly silly girl. She didn't fall... oooooh no. She took one look at me across the room and realized she had enough time to get away with her little scheme. :brick:

   That was sooo sweet! I needed the reminder I think, I was talking about burnout earlier.....but I love both my kids, no matter what challenges they bring my way. God has special plans for all our kids, and I know you will have a wonderful experience with your new little bundle of joy!

Nope...definitely not ready. Don't know if I'll ever be. But I do know that I will want one eventually. I'm crazy for wanting one...but I do want one.

And I'm aware I forgot some stuff... I was doing a general overview!

You're not crazy for wanting one... it'll be the most amazing experience of your life. Having a baby is incredible, life changing and something to be dreamed about...

I just try and pass along a healthy dose of reality along with all the cuddles, and coos, sleepy kisses and soft blankies... ;)

It's an amazing experience for sure, but be sure that you're ready for it. You have plenty of time yet, and you'll know when you're ready!
