Why scared? I have a daughter, my wife has 4 sisters, I have one brother that is 7 years my younger. I only have experience with a girl. How in the world and I gonna do this? How different are they? I need to brush up on my sports! (I know that's a stereotype) I can sing most of the songs to Cinderella, Mary Poppins and BatB, but now what.... Power Rangers??? I tremble at the thought. I know it will come to me though, I'm not worried, just Scared.

This is the first place that I have "Chatted" ever.... sometimes, I wonder how real it is... and if I should be... I struggle like Dot and sometimes can't understand why I have this desire to pop unto to the internet to see what you all are doing and talking about....but Thank-you. Thank-you, Thank-you.

Actually I felt the same way about having a boy when I found out about DS, but believe me, you'll do fine. Boys are a lot of fun, but they are definitely different.

Oh, and watch out when you change his diaper. DS didn't get the nickname "Squirt" for nothing!

I know everyone says it doesn't matter... but most men always hope for a boy... and now?! You get yours!!! SOoo I'm very very excited for you!!! trust me...we all aren't acting. We a totally 100% genuine. And I don't think a lot of us have had an experience like this before where we met some strangers on the internet only to have them turn into a family. But we really are a family and we all really are truly happy for you!!! I can say that without a doubt!

You'll be a wonderful father to a boy! I know exactly how you feel. If I ever have a boy, I'm gonna be so lost because I only know how to interact with girls. But you will learn quickly. And hey...now that pirates and princess parties apply to you more! :lol: You have your own little princess already and now you're getting ready for a pirate!

My wife is excited as well... she really wanted a boy for her dad. (5 daughters). I think now that I know, I realized I also wanted a boy. Kayden said no mommy you are having a girl!
I think this will be good for her(wife). Kayden is really a daddy's girl.(the picture is a picture of our relationship) She lights up my world and typically behaves better for me than mommy. But growing up, I was a mommas boy like allot of boys are.. just close with their mother. So I think my wife is in for a nice treat. She sees allot of mothers in church that have sons and how close they are, she is VERY Excited!

It was nice to drive a car again and not in the back of the worlds most scariest thrill rides..ie, Big City Cabs!

Kayden will love her baby brother... I swore my little sister was going to be a boy and named her Kermit. :lookaroun She'll have so much fun being a big sister!!! That is the perfect age too! She'll really be able (and want) to help out with bringing mommy diapers and things!

Aww that's so sweet. I'm so excited for you. Our son is the only boy on my husband's side of the family, so they were really thrilled about it.
