Speaking of poems:

How about this one? (I agree, "Two roads diverged in a yellow wood" is nice but a little cliche.)
I liked it a lot in high school. And now that I'm...let's just say...quite older, it's still interesting.

BTW--the Cavern is the nightclub where the Beatles got their start...

:waves: at Yellow Shoes!!! Glad to see you, neat poem!

Well, good morning all. I feel like I was hit by a truck- that is how sore I am right now (of course, sitting in a car for about 9 hours, and running around in between, can do that to you. :D ). Again, I just want to say thanks to everyone for all the well-wishes. Now the real waiting begins. Hopefully it won't be too long, because I am going crazy waiting!! It's been 47 days since I interviewed, and it could almost be 2 months by the time I find out (hopefully not! ) Anyway, even if I don't get character and get another role, the audition helped me to realize that I can do this again. I will keep trying until I do. Now, time to enjoy lunch! :drevil: :D

Actually, his family is really into Disney. Both his parents and his brother and sister-in-law are DVC members. (They want us to join too, but we don't have the cash for that right now.)

But his job leaves him really stressed, and his idea of a vacation is sleeping and eating. Me, on the other hand, wonders why we even have to sleep -there's fun at the parks to be had!

I guess WDW isn't a real de-stressing vacation!
Leave him at the pool and let him unwind.
Poor guy! Maybe someday he'll be able to really get into it.
In the meantime, I agree with you, who needs sleep when you're at WDW!

Let me Die a Young Man's Death
Roger McGough 1937-

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Let me die a young man's death
not a clean and inbetween
the sheets holywater death
not a famous-last-words
peaceful out of breath death

When I'm 73
and in constant good tumour
may I be mown down at dawn
by a bright red sports car
on my way home
from an allnight party

Or when I'm 91
with silver hair
and sitting in a barber's chair
may rival gangsters
with hamfisted tommyguns
burst in and give me a short back and insides

Or when I'm 104
and banned from the Cavern
may my mistress
catching me in bed with her daughter
and fearing for her son
cut me up into little pieces
and throw away every piece but one

Let me die a young man's death
not a free from sin tiptoe in
candle wax and waning death
not a curtains drawn by angels borne
'what a nice way to go' death

Fun!
Thanks for sharing!

Stupid internet is still acting up - I keep getting kicked off. I think maybe it's a sign that I should get outside and enjoy this glorious weather. See y'all later!

Lucky dog. I'm stuck in this office, with no windows. I did get to go out and stretch my legs during my lunch break though. Now I'm not in any mood to work the rest of the afternoon. :lookaroun
