Oh, I love it. It's hilarious.

Of course he isn't serious in it. It's a satire on the condition Ireland was in under the rule of England in the 1700s. Lots of poverty, lots of poor mothers, lots of poor mothers with 5+ children. Swift's "solution" was to sell the babies so that the poor people could earn money, the starving people would get food, and the economy would get boosted.

While my friends will talk about health issues and in-law problems, etc., I don't like to do that.
