I've heard that watching the movie "Supersize Me" should cure anyone of ever eating fast food again.

What do you think?

I've heard that as well.
My dad just finished the book and passed it along to me, he's already dead set on no more fast food. Even though we never ate much anyway.

There was a big "discussion" about it over the weekend at my cousin's birthday party. The end result: one of my cousins will be taping it next time he sees it on, and he's making DVDs for the whole family.

I've only read the first three chapters starting last night, but I already like the book. I find his sense of humor Hilarius.

Chapter One: Do you want lies with that?
Chapter Two: The light at the end of the taco!

:lookaroun  :lookaroun

I'm going to have to rent that one soon.
We're not fast food people anyway.
Once in a very rare while a burger and fries.
Then I'm good for a long time.
Wouldn't really care if they closed them all up, though.

People do everything too fast these days.
No time to even eat a decent meal.
Sad.
That's important family time lost, too.

Neither are we. In fact... I can't remember the last time I went to a McDonald's or a Burger King...

Sad.

More sad: Most kids can recognize the McDonald's arches before they can talk.

We almost always eat together. I find it so strange when a family doesn't do that...

Dinner together was a must every night when the kids were growing up. You had to have a really good reason not to be there.
Besides having healthy food, it was also our time to talk - about anything.
Now that it's just me and George, it's still the same.
