There will only be 3 show scenes.
We know about the mine scene inside the mountain, and a scene in the cottage at the end of the ride, what will the third scene be?

What is Disney's motivation to suddenly completely change course? They showed off the figures for The Little Mermaid, Radiator Springs Racers and Enchanted Tales with Belle while the hype for the last big (I use that term loosely) attraction for three years is a whole lot of fluff and nothingness. What you quoted seemed to be far more about translating characters specifically designed for 2D into physical figures, not anything about the advancement of the figures themselves.

There could be a small show scene at the beginning, after loading. If so, I wouldn't imagine it would be much.

What's going to happen if the infamous poster was correct?
Part of me is sad I missed the apparent outbursts earlier, while part of me is glad to avoid even more internet drama.
...the part of me that *does* know what the dwarf animatronics are going to be on the other hand...
What's being done with them is completely different than what was done with Urusla. Whether or not you call that better or worse comes down to a matter of personal preference -but given a *lot* of rides are slated to get plussed in this manner in the somewhat near future lends support to the fact that internally, WDI is pretty excited about it. Similar technology has been used, but not to the extent of which it is being used on the dwarfs.
So, call me the bearer of good news (or bad news if you wanted who ever the nimrod from earlier was to be wrong entirely), but you might be pleasantly surprised. This is WDWMagic though, so you can't leave everyone happy. I believe that's in the rules somewhere. So here it is - the Dwarf effect isn't even due to be installed prior to spring break - so for all of you "OMGz WHEN IS SOFT OPENINGz" folks out there... Hi. Don't sit outside the wall every day hoping it might open soon.
Come down next year The hub will be done and the MK won't look like a war zone. Thanks Jennifer! However I'm beginning to accept that it's not going to happen
Hi, I just got off the phone with Disney, and the lady I spoke with said the mine train would open to the public on April 30th!!! Of course, I know this isn't a guarantee. (This wouldn't be the first
It won't be the last either.
I wonder if they are using the "mapping" projection on the faces of the dwarves? They could be medium movement animatronics with projected faces.
Or the vultures?Perhaps the poster was referring to shadow figures of the dwarfs as you ascend up the second lift-hill?
I will, I was just hoping to be able to ride next week.Come down next year The hub will be done and the MK won't look like a war zone.
Plus HP 2.0!I will, I was just hoping to be able to ride next week.
Or the vultures?

It still seems to be more about looks. Also, Disney is pretty much out of the animatronics game. The vast majority of figures are now built by Garner Holt Productions but Disney never admits to others being involved. Here are some parts of the article @doctornick is mentioning:
"At Walt Disney Imagineering, it's not just about living up to the Disney standards; it's about setting a new standard", said Walt Disney Imagineer Ethan Reed, the project's Animation Creative Director. "At one point early on, we had some basic Audio-Animatronics figures that we had sketched up, but during a review with Bruce Vaughn, our Chief Executive at Imagineering, he challenged us to see what we could come up with to make these figures unique. We knew we wanted them to have the charm and appeal of the classic characters from the 1937 film, but we needed them brought to life with 21st century technology and imagination."
Emboldened by that challenge, the team dreamed up a groundbreaking new design that would blend hand-drawn, computer and Audio-Animatronic animation, and then partnered with Walt Disney Animation Studios to help materialize their vision.
"This is a complete integration of animation media into a dimensional figure, and it's like nothing you've seen," said Walt Disney Animation Studios Special Projects Producer/Creative Director Dave Bossert. "I'm fortunate to be part of a really cool team of people from a variety of disciplines here at Walt Disney Animation Studios, and working on projects like these with equally talented Imagineers whose disciplines are just as diverse creates a perfect storm of creativity. All of these disciplines, from animation to lighting to sculpting and engineering, come together in these new figures in a way that appears stunningly seamless. When you look at the Dwarfs in the attraction, you won't know what you are looking at. They're just alive, and it's jaw dropping."
The article goes on to mention how Dave Bossert's special projects team recently supported work on World of Color at DCA.
Back to my opinions: These guys seem pretty pumped up about what they a have created and it doesn't sound to me like they outsourced the AA's. Sounds like they may have gone back and reworked the figures with some new technology.
Distance and time would be big factors. Another think that I think gets posts is that good looking figures do not equate to advanced figures. Slow, steady motions are easier to accomplish that quick and rapid motions. The figures inside the attraction can still look great without being a leap forward in terms of animatronic technology. Now here is the real question, why would the meet and greet get more exciting AA's than their "showcase attraction"? I'm 50/50 on what we'll actually get, but it seems odd and out of the tone of the rest of this expansion.
I agree, but Mermaid received a better queue and facade than the actual ride, so who knows. Now here is the real question, why would the meet and greet get more exciting AA's than their "showcase attraction"? Yes, while I like Lumiere it doesn't take long to see his arm supports and it really kills the effect once you do find it.Yeah, that'd make sense...that's how the statues in the Mansion talk and sing, right? And a much more sophisticated (I'm guessing) technique is used for Lumiere in "Enchanted Tales With Belle"...huh...don't know how I feel about that...I hate projected effects.
