Well just returning from an 8 day trip to the world and saved the best for last Mickey's not so scary Halloween party. We were there celebrating my twin sons 12th birthday and really looking forward to the party all week. Upon arrival it started to rain and keeping a positive attitude and hoping Disney would push on with the show. We lined up on main st. for the parade and after waiting almost an hour in the rain they cancel it. My sons now in disappointment I tried making the best of it and hoping to see the fireworks and castle show but all events were cancelled. I've been reading rumors of Disney refunding the price of party admission on Facebook. I called today and Disney rep said she's heard of this issue and rudely said she couldn't control weather and that was that has anyone else had any luck with this issue?[/q
My Family and I were there Thursday October 4. We Got a full refund, Of course we had to wait in a long line to get it. The cast members were very pleasant, they saw my daughter as well as other children were upset and offered loads of candy to everyone. It wasn't the experience we thought we would have, but we did receive pleasant service from cast members. My opinion is, they were working as fast as people would allow them to work, and they did a great job especially when some let the weather get the best of them. I'm sorry your boys were disappointed, hopefully the weather cooperates better for us next time! Take care!
