Mickey's not so scary saturated Halloween party

Have been in the same situation many years ago but it was Christmas Day, it rained so hard virtually everything was cancelled, MK was packed as you can imagine then trying to get back on the resort buses was a nightmare with huge lines with people pushing in, not a Christmas Disney I remember for the right reasons. For this reason I will only do special events maybe the day before, it may cost a little more but at least you don't waste a lot more! We go to the airport tomorrow for our flight early Thursday morning 9 hrs later in the magic again!

if you're referring to the party on October 4, guests were offered 3 different choices of compensation:

- exchange ticket for another party night
- use ticket as one-day pass to MK any time within the next year (I think there may have been some black out dates around the holidays.)
- full refund

to get the refund, you had to show your tickets and method of payment. resort guests were told to take care of it at their hotel, but refunds were also processed at any of the guest services windows in the parks.

Wow, we were really lucky, we first wanted to purchase tickets for that evening because the tickets were a little cheaper, instead we purchased for the next day and had a sweatty warm evening but no rain.
