Mickey,Minnie,Margaritas and Mayhem....(my first trip report)

Hi everyone i'm mamamouse, you may have seen me post on other trip reports ,but this is my first time writing one,I had been planning this trip for what seemed like FOREVER!!! and I'm very excited because I was meeting my "online" friends for the first time.I wanna start off by saying I am not a photographer or an english teacher,so my pics may not be up to some of your standards but, they're my memories and for that I cherish them as is,and I am a typo queen n known for lack of punctuation.Travelling with me are ,my hubby n 2 daughters, mom, stepdad, sister 3 nephews 1 niece n my partner in crime, her hubby n 2 kids.let's see ......ah yes the airport n the only time I ever smile at 5 am is when on my way HOME <3

what it comes down to is Chefs de France was the worst meal I've ever had not only in WDW but anywhere, the only thing worth eating there is this.....

253-Copy.jpg

and although we weren't visited by Remy we did have 2 other visitors, who made the girls smile Grandma

249-Copy.jpg

and big cousin "j"

250-Copy.jpg

when we left the restaurant I had to stop to organoise some things in the bag from the earlier"morocco mess" that was my back pack and here's where my roo sat,I love catching them in pics that aren't posed

254-Copy.jpg

255-Copy.jpg

and this pic I love

257-Copy.jpg

then I took some pics of our surrounding area

259-Copy.jpg

LOVE the dresses. So super cute!! :) That's one talented woman making those!!

We're trying Les Chefs next month. I'd rather do Via Napoli but my sister want to do France. She wants to see Remy and even though I told her there is NO guarantee, she still wants to chance it. We'll see I guess! Hopefully our food is better than what you guys had... ICK!!

Can't wait to read more!! :)

wow I didn't realise how blurry those pics were until I saw them up close oopsy, anyways we couldn't forget to get some Duffy shots....

264-Copy.jpg

265-Copy.jpg

and we saw people wearing these shirts"11 countries 11 drinks" pretty much everywhere we went that day

266-Copy.jpg

and by this point the world Showcase was packed, and just like in November the most populated areas by drunk people were between the Uk and Canada, its funny cause I was telling Beth the first night about how bad it was in November when we went and the night her n i were there we didn't see anything like that, but tonight was a night That I didn't want my kids in this park any longer.I understand its food n wine fest and some people need to drink as much as they can,but if you can't control yourself in a place for families then don't drink so much.Sorry but I have no use for people who act like idiots and use bade language when they clearly see a little kid walking by them, one guy was telling a story to his friend and as my youngest passed by him he was looking her right in the face n swearing out loud n spitting as he talked.GRRRRRR anyways here are some shots on our way out

269-Copy.jpg

270-Copy.jpg

on our way out of the park we were hoping to go ride Figment but it was closed so instead we introduced roo n bigdaddy to soarin, and they both liked it but not as much as boo n I do.WE headed out of the park after that and went to wait for the bus, this was the longest wait ever we saw 4 all star busses n 3 pop busses go by and I was starting to worry that something might have happened with our bus,I never heard anything since but I hope if there was some sort of accident that it wasn't too serious.WE finally hopped on the bus and decided we'd go for a swim when we got back to CBR.

281-Copy.jpg

and here is the little princess who would be joining me for breakfast

282-Copy.jpg

she was so excited because that morning when we got on the bus the bus driver played this recording that said"ladies and gentlemen this is a reminder to be on your best royal behaviour,we're travelling with a real disney princess today" and she was the only princess on the bus. I thought that was cute n it made her feel extra special.

Oh I almost forgot we had another guest join us too

283-Copy.jpg

and then shortly after the characters started coming around

285-Copy.jpg

just then our server came around and he had a special surprise in store too,he had minnie get close as he lit this candle n everyone sand happy b day to my roo, minnie was so cute swaying side to side with the cupcake in hand

287.jpg

and up next was Roo's fave pal

now throughout the trip we saw alot of sky writings and although I'm not religious it was interesting to see the letters form so i took a pic

315-Copy.jpg

then we went to our room n i gathered up our laundry while daddy snoozed n the girls coloured,in between I filled up our resort mugs and spoke to a woman who was from australia, she was a sweetheart I love meeting people while travelling it's so neat,we talked about the halloween party ( as I was washing our costumes too) and compared the differences in how we celebrate halloween back home, then soon enough it was time to get ready to go to DHS and get daddy to the ESPN club he had a football date with Grandpa today to see The chargers game.
Duffy led the way for us

Yay!! So glad to jump on board! The girls are so cute in their Ariel dresses, I wish adults could dress up in the parks all the time LOL! I agree about those Margarita’s, they can really pack a punch, especially in the heat! I LOVE the pic after the girls were at the Pirate League, their dresses match so well with the whole pirate theme!

MICHAEL BOLTON!

You're crackin' me up!

I'm enjoying the pictures with Duffy and Goofy! Your girls are adorable - how neat of that bus driver.

Oh goodness! Michael Bolton! Never ever paid attention to that before. We have stayed at BC twice so you have got to save and stay there sometime. It is very, very nice! The girls would love the big pool too!
Sorry you had a less than perfect meal at France. We've eaten there too. Sometimes it's good and sometimes it's not. Never consistent. Maybe they change chefs a lot! We always eat counter service since it is just the two of us. That way we can share some things, but actually get some good food for the price. We did eat at Le Cellier in Canada one year, and it was really good!

So we were waiting for the bus and all of a sudden I felt this nudging in my side, and someone whispered "momma Duffy is firsty" well we couldn't have that now could we so.....
318-Copy.jpg

and then Duffy was wanting a pic with big sis
317-Copy.jpg

she wasn't satisfied with her earlier ponytail and had told me that before we went back to DHS she needed real rapunzel hair just incase(which is funny because as it's if she knew something awesome would be coming up soon)
here's my attempt at real rapunzel hair lol
319-Copy.jpg

we got to DHS and I directed hubby towards the MICHAEL BOLTON dock( if you don't know what i'm talkin bout check out fractal's trip report,it's packed full of cool stuff, besides without his help my report wouldn't have come to be)
Anyways we went into the park n started walking around looking for starring rolls LOL I walked right past it hahaha i was so excited because I had my first COH sighting

321-Copy.jpg

it was just outside of this place

322-Copy.jpg

and then TADAAAAAAAA I was all hyped up to finally find out what Miller poppins food was all about

323-Copy.jpg

Probably the mexican food cause it's not taco bell. We like the cuteness of the little place! Morroco is a close second for the hummus and falafels!

here's what we ended up with can ya guess who got the cupcake tee hee

327-Copy.jpg

next we went to get a spot for the parade(which I personally don't care for I much prefered the disney stars in motor cars, but the girls wanted to see it ,and afterall it's more about them than me so on we went)

329.jpg

and then the coolest thing ever happened, this film crew showed up and told us they were gonna teach us a dance for a filming of a flash mob(I've always wanted to be part of a flashmob)they said it was part of a promotional video that would be on one of the in room channels SO COOL!!! I was totally game n I ran right out into that street to learn the dance,it was a blasy eventhough boo wanted no part of it she just stood n watched while her sister n I got right into it.it was a good work out too, doing it over n over.Since we've been home I searched it on youtube and found a few vids but none in the same area that we were in BOOOOOOOO!!!!! Up next is the countdown to fun parade n we skip out on an ADR YIKES!!! I totally forgot.
