Well the FP+ situation at HS has certainly improved. Just recently it was choose one ride (two if you want Star Tours) and then burn one or two on the shows that you don't need it for. Hoping that Epcot will be able to do something when RAT opens - maybe move Soarin' and/or Test Track to Tier 2? With SSE down even Disney must realize that they will need to improve Tier 2.

They did what Disney thinks is best for Disney. They like FP+ because in their eyes it keeps people out of lines and gives them more time to eat and shop, spreads out the crowds to minor attractions, and ensures that the ride operates at capacity throughout the entirety of the day (something not currently always true of MF:SR).

Oh, and it helps with hotel capacity.

As a parent with 3 kids under 7, I love the FP system. I know it slows down the standby line, but knowing you're going on atleast 3 rides/day with minimal wait is huge.

Not for booking FPs it won’t.

You can only book the first 14 days right at the 60 day window.
Then at 59 days out you can book day 15.
And at 58 days out you can book day 16 and so on.

So even if she had a 21 day stay, she could only have booked to April 20th today.

But regardless, she is actually staying CL and went for the additional FPs, as posted on another thread.

Yeah, I'm an idiot. For some reason I looked at the date and thought it was 2/16.

To add to that Harmonius FPS might be popular as well. If the show will be as big and amazing as they say it will.

We also scored some for mid-March. Staying 4 days at the beautiful Riviera resort and riding MMRR, RotR, Smuggler's Run, Slinky Dog, among others. Going to be an excellent trip. Dining at Topolino's and Tiffins on this trip also.

Swapped my 1:25 Slinky for a 12:55 MMRR on 3/22. I think that's the right choice.
I’ve got two days at DHS and now have MMRR day one and Slinky day 2. Really thinking about ditching slinky for a second MMRR pass.. I usually do slinky when the park closes and wait no more than 30 min. So thats still an option

I thought about switching over to MMRR, but ultimately decided to keep SD instead (and MFSR isn't available for the time I want). I am going a few weeks after MMRR opens and am concerned with breakdowns and such. I'll either wait in line or wait until my June trip to ride it.

Just ride it at end of the night, hope in right before close line will move fast since no more fast passes!

If you did get an FP and the ride broke down, you would get an anytime FP which would be good for the other tier 1 rides in the park.

However I would keep an eye on reports; getting in line just before park close or during the Star Wars projection/fireworks show would likely result in a reasonable stand-by wait time.

My excitement for this attractions is at an all time high! I LOVE the new shorts and after experiencing rise I’ve seen what the ride system is capable of delivering in terms of experiences! This leads me to my question, so I’m assuming with them putting it on FP + they must be confident. So are we expecting any kind of media previews or any kind of preview? I’m super excited for a POV of this ride since we know the general story of the ride but I’m just interested in the execution, the shorts don’t really make since on paper but they aren’t supposed to it’s all in the execution. Oh and we get a brand new short basically out of this which makes me super excited. Do we have any ideas on what kind of output this ride can put out? Is it a people eater or a low capacity attraction? Seems high given the vehicles.

Have never watched the shorts. Well, time to justify my Disney+ subscription!
