Should we be concerned that Mickey is about to flip over on his front bumper?![]()
I’m more concerned about Goofy about to be flattened by a flying cow. And he’s driving the train.

Most of the TGMR movie scenes had been owned by Paramount in the end. The only Fox property was Alien, and Disney had a separate deal for that (and each of the other dioramas which didn't rely on ownership of the controlling studio). So, IOW, purchasing Fox would have had zero affect on TGMR.

Neither is Mickey!and just why wasn't Minnie wearing her seat belt!!!![]()
Rise of resistance only provided this information a day in advance. My best guess would be max a week since this attraction is less high profile than ROTR was.Alright, I'm not trying to poke the bear on this issue but does anyone have any inkling of when we'll actually find out what the boarding situation is going to be for this thing? My buddy and I are very much planning on being there opening day. I haven't done Rise yet but since I've got a Disneyland trip coming up in the second half of 2020 and I'm very spoiled for Rise and not spoiled at all for this I figure Railway definitely takes priority. With that being said, I'd still like to know if I'll have a chance to do this in standby and Rise via boarding group, or if I should just expect to aim for a boarding group for this and forgo my expectations of getting on Rise. Any educated guesses on to when this info is going to become available would be very helpful to the trip planning process.![]()

One month until projected opening is an eternity for these folks.Alright, I'm not trying to poke the bear on this issue but does anyone have any inkling of when we'll actually find out what the boarding situation is going to be for this thing? Which is even worseActually not true; the information was provided at about 3 or 4am on opening day.
Any guesses on when would be appropriate to show up at the park on the fourth? I know the hype around this thing isn't huge but I LOVE the concept for it and this will be the first time I have the chance to be at any Disney park for opening day of a major attraction. Right now my buddy and I are playing around with getting to the property around 5 AM but if ya'll think this is too early let me know![]()
They do. Just smaller.Maybe someone posted this, but didn't the train vehicles resemble the old GMR vehicles in that video (in size)?
It seems WDW hasn't decided yet, so, no one knows.does anyone have any inkling of when we'll actually find out what the boarding situation is going to be for this thing?
On these boards, it isn’t too early to start talking about the 100th celebration. I understand there will be a light parade. Is it too early to start talking soft openings or AP previews?

I grow less optimistic toward the 50th with each passing day, but I’m purposely checking-out in 2020.I hope your joking in this post lol... please don’t tell me your heard something new recently that we are not getting a parade next year for the 50th!![]()
I Hope Rise will be a physical queue by March 4th and MMRR will use the boarding groups.I may be the only one around these parts who expects massive, massive crowds that morning. I'd keep tabs on Twitter the morning of, starting at 3 am, like I did with the opening of ROTR. Then again, if they do boarding groups, it doesn't matter when to arrive. The worst thing is taking the precaution of getting up too early. But the excitement and adrenaline rush of your first opening day at WDW is
I think there's this assumption here that because Mickey isn't Star Wars, the fans aren't as fervent. Mickey Mouse isn't a major character or anything. It's only his first headliner dark ride attraction in history. And since it's replacing a beloved attraction, a lot of folks are probably chomping at the bit to compare and contrast it -- and to see if the attraction runs any better than RoTR.
Or, I'm wrong and it'll be smooth sailing!
