People are already reporting they are gone for March 7th (with the caveat they will already have two others, so those times will be blocked out for them). That’s in less than 30 minutes.
Doesn’t quite tally with the view of many that this won’t be that popular.
Opening week is always popular.
We'll have to try the standby line and see how it goes.

Maybe not, but we'd know all the little tricks to getting a ride without waiting for a ridiculous amount of time.

I assume they’re limiting the number of fast passes for opening week, and it will ramp up if the ride proves itself to be reliable and they hit their capacity targets

@IMDREW It'll send you an email warning you that you need to book hotel to keep your fastpasses. Usually once the system catches it you have 24 hours to link a new room reservation before it cancels them.
Also got a FP for Opening Day.. woohoo! On the plus side it opened up some Slinky Dog and Smugglers Run FPs for other people.

She’s staying Club Level and got the additional FPs, which can be booked at 90 days out. And must have contacted Signature Services to change one to MMRR.

The timing of this drop negated any onsite advantage through 3/7. I was still able to grab a slot on 3/8 @ 2:20, but it'll be a tight squeeze (flight back to SoCal is at 6:20, and we plan on catching DME from AKL).
I guess you'll see me at rope drop on the 6th!

I know this probably sucks for APs, but as a meticulous planner staying on-property for two weeks in May I’m very much looking forward to at least two, possibly three MMRR FPs

They did what Disney thinks is best for Disney. They like FP+ because in their eyes it keeps people out of lines and gives them more time to eat and shop, spreads out the crowds to minor attractions, and ensures that the ride operates at capacity throughout the entirety of the day (something not currently always true of MF:SR).
Oh, and it helps with hotel capacity.

Alternatively, 60 + LoS would get you to April 27.

It puts those with Fastpass in a short line but leaves those in standby in longer lines.

AP's can always stay on property too if they want. A lot of people do that, believe it or not.

Not for booking FPs it won’t.
You can only book the first 14 days right at the 60 day window.
Then at 59 days out you can book day 15.
And at 58 days out you can book day 16 and so on.
So even if she had a 21 day stay, she could only have booked to April 20th today.
But regardless, she is actually staying CL and went for the additional FPs, as posted on another thread.

I got 2 also for April 17th and 22nd……..staying in 3 bedroom...……....Having the 3 extra FP is great for HS (especially....got MFSR, SDD, MMRR, TOT, RnR and TYMM) and MK...…….Other 2 parks its really not worth it yet (until Rat and GoG open in Epcot)
