Probably because they wanted to make sure everything was ready to go before they opened up FASTPASS+WHy did Disney wait so long to announces this? Why didnt they announce it at the 60 + day window?

One of the biggest reasons I hate FP+.Looks like they're already gone for me. Yikes.

Yeah no doubt the 31-60 days out are being gobbled up right now. Rise is it's own beast, can't really compare the two processes. It's pretty clear Rise isn't ready for standby let alone FP.Especially being a AP. Depends how popular MMRR will be, but if it proves popular then non resort guests and locals won’t be seeing available FPS for awhile. However I still think it’s better then the mess Rise has.
From what I understand, the ride was already finished for over a couple months, but management wanted to delay the opening to focus press and attention for Rise of the Resistance. With the signage for the ride officially installed, and considering this is the very first ride ever to feature Mickey & Minnie, I am surprised we haven't heard about any Passholder previews, especially since the M&M are the inspiration for why we passholders exist to begin with.
Being this close to the opening, I guess they are not having a Passholder preview, but I am curious if anyone has heard anything to the contrary or has any thoughts on why there wouldn't be a preview. The more I think about it...the ride is based on a new M&M movie premier, and Hollywood always has preview screenings of their movies. It just seems like a big missed opportunity.

I got one for my stay in April!
I have a booking for the Holiday Inn which I already canceled, but it keeps showing in my account. They delete fastpasss you have when you cancel a reservation right?
Thanks, then I'll just wait till my booking is removed, cause Im not planning on staying on site for those days anymore and would hate to lose my fast passes, so better not make them in the first place..Yes, although you have a couple of days grace period to book another onsite or DS stay.
Tier 1Is it a Tier 1 or Tier 2?

Tier 1
Thank you kindly!Tier 1.
People are already reporting they are gone for March 7th (with the caveat they will already have two others, so those times will be blocked out for them). That’s in less than 30 minutes.
Doesn’t quite tally with the view of many that this won’t be that popular.
If you were local you would have no Fastpass!Got a FP for April 27! Now to wait.... why can’t I be local
Maybe not, but we'd know all the little tricks to getting a ride without waiting for a ridiculous amount of time.If you were local you would have no Fastpass!
